Purple is a symbol of mystery in anime world and you see some purple hair anime girls have that mystery element in them and if you are a regular reader of MOW you will know that we have covered many hair colors in past like blue hair, brown hair white hair, Blonde hairs etc.
But today we are covering mysterious purple hair anime girls in this list. These anime girls have captured many anime fans hearts by begin adorable and simply amazing.
Without wasting any more time lets begin the list of purple hair anime girls.
45. Kae Serinuma From Watashi ga Motete Dousunda
People say all the time that a girl lost weight for a boy because she was bullied or because society put pressure on her…
But it’s rare to hear of a full-body change because someone was sad about an anime character.
Yes, that’s how Kae went from being a fat girl that no one noticed to the hottest girl in school.
44. Maya Natsume From Tenjou Tenge
Maya always trains her subordinates in ways that are very strange and vague. But things always work out in the end. It’s almost like she’s always one step ahead of everyone else.
She stays in her child form most of the time to keep her chi, so it’s easy to forget that she’s a beautiful woman who will have back problems in the future.
Even with her family, things are all kinds of messed up. But, hey, as a sensei, it doesn’t change anything.
43. Blair From Soul Eater
Blair is one scary kitten.
Even though she is a cat by nature, she is strong enough to be confused for a full-fledged witch.
We see over and over again that she is a strong person.
She doesn’t seem to want to go after anyone, though. Instead, she takes bubble baths and walks around naked.
She enjoys herself. Sometimes it can be dangerous and sometimes it can be funny, but it’s good that she’s not the main bad guy.
I mean, they’d have to kill her nine times before she was really dead. Just think about how long that last battle would last!
42. Rize Tedeza From Is the Order a Rabbit?
Rize is a very tough person all the way through.
She seems to have a much more developed mind than her friends, which is why she often acts as if she knows everything.
She’s also grown up because she doesn’t beat around the bush. She is very straightforward and can even seem a bit rude.
Oh, she’s probably also carrying a gun at any given time.
So I think a better way to put it is that she doesn’t beat around the bush.
41. Chihiro Shindou From EF a Tale of Memories
When you see a little girl with an eyepatch in an anime, you can be sure that she is either the cutest and unluckiest person ever or a psychopath.
Most of the time, it’s the former, which is the case here.
After an accident, Chihiro has trouble remembering things from the past. This means that at the end of each day, she can only remember things that happened in the last 13 hours.
Because of her illness, she became much more shy than she used to be.
She also got more interested in books and writing. She’s so cute, oh my god.
40. Akane Shinjo From SSSS.Gridman
You don’t want to make this woman mad, you sweet child of Jesus.
In fact, it’s best to stay away from her everywhere and at all times.
Because, even though she acts like a sweet, shy girl, her spark is shorter than Bakugo’s.
You made her food fall?
As you run for your life, it should be fun to deal with this kaiju that looks like a dragon.
And if that wasn’t scary enough, she can turn into a kaiju herself and really hurt you.
Still, she’s cute and has purple hair, so she’s on this list. I am a simple man.
39. Izuna Hatsuse From No Game No Life
Izuna is so fluffy and cute that I want to die.
Even in terms of her personality, when she’s not trying to win a game and coming at you like a wild animal, she’s so cute-desu.
When they’re with Sora and Shiro, they look like the strangest three musketeers who are also a power(mad) house-desu.
And if you haven’t noticed, she says desu a lot to try to be nicer.
Such a sweet girl.
38. Izumi Kyouka From Bungou Stray Dogs
Most of the time, Izumi fits the typical image of a kid assassin.
Being lied to, having doubts about her own worth, being willing to die for a cause, never being taught how to solve a problem without genocide, etc.
But she does a great job in her role.
Even though she still has some of her old habits, she becomes a very useful member of the team.
It also helps that she has a personality that makes people like her, and it always warms my heart to see her get care and attention for the first time.
37. Moriko Morioka From Netoju (Recovery of an MMO Junkie)
“A pro gamer move” is what we call what Moriko did.
After eleven years of not enjoying her corporate job, she chooses to quit and devote her life to the all-powerful world of MMORPGs.
She chooses to meet some new people and ends up in the virtual world.
And, girl, I’m the same.
Also, you have to keep in mind that this is a fully grown woman.
So she can’t live in the basement with her mom.
She has to find a way to pay for her lifestyle and add some romantic comedy to the mix.
36. Aoi Yamada From Working!!
How do you even begin to talk about Yamada, if that’s even their real name?
At first, she was just a cute addition to the end of the series, and it seemed like she had a very sad past.
But when you find out she’s good at lying, things get a little more interesting.
What does this girl stand for?
I don’t know, she doesn’t mind stealing from the diner and is a master manipulator.
But she’s not a bad person, either.
And she definitely makes the show a lot more interesting, so she gets my approval.
35. Jirou Kyouka From Boku no Hero Academia
I was starting to give up on this character because in the first dozen shows, she’s mostly just a background character.
But Jirou finally gets some screen time during the class 1A musical show.
And it’s put to good use. We find out that she can not only play music well, but also teach it well.
Her voice was top-notch, no doubt about it.
Now, all we can do is hope that she will fight more and show off her very unique quirk in later seasons.
She has too much style to be left on the benches.
34. Toko Fukawa From Danganronpa
Toko isn’t for everyone, that’s for sure. Because, unlike some of the princess-like figures on this list, Toko hasn’t had the best life, and this has caused her trauma.
She didn’t seem to care that she didn’t know how to get along with other people. Instead, she kept to herself and felt like an outsider.
She is now afraid of the dark, baths, and ghosts, and she has a very warped view of what it means to be sexual.
She does get better later on, after finally meeting a true friend. And from there, we can see a lot of growth.
She gets extra points because she is a great writer.
33. Kamishiro Rize From Tokyo Ghoul
This character definitely went through three different stages.
First, she was just a cute girl who liked our main character. Then, she became a cruel ghoul whose name scared everyone.
This last part lasted the longest because she became our main character’s opposite.
But also quiet like a counselor.
Two things are for sure: the power she gave Kaneki was ridiculous, and you should always follow the manga’s story.
32. Hotaru Shidare From Dagashi Kashi
It’s an insult to Hotaru to say that she likes sweets.
She has candy crush grills that are full of sugar.
Hotaru’s passion for sweets came from her parents, who worked in the candy business.
This is useful in two ways. First, she wants her business to grow, and we can see that she is always trying to get Kokonotsu’s father to work for her.
Second, she really cares about her work. She was always seen putting something tasty in her mouth.
31. Road Kamelot From D.Gray-man
So, in theory, Road is a pretty cool guy.
She cares a lot about her family and often comforts them and shows them love.
She’s in her mid-30s, but she still acts like a child, always needing someone to entertain her. But that’s kind of cute.
But then we see that she thinks she’s better than regular people and acts cruelly toward people she doesn’t like. Or people who are planning to hurt her family.
If you nailed someone’s hands to a clock, it would make them less cute.
But she did get some cool points, so it’s all good.
30. Kurumi Ebisuzawa From Gakkou Gurashi!
Kurumi is one of the few people I’ve seen who is definitely a badass but doesn’t go all the way to being a sociopath.
Since this is a zombie anime, you might expect the normal things, like a ruthless killer and a person who is too emotional to pull the trigger.
Kurumi is no pushover, that’s for sure. She is, in fact, by far the strongest and most skilled person in the group.
But even then, if a zombie shows even a small sign of humanity, she stops and gets confused.
And let’s not talk about how she feels at night. That’s a whole other thing.
29. Konno Yuuki From Sword Art Online
Just so you know, the next part will give away some of the story.
Yuuki is the kind of person who proves that tales never die.
Even though she had a disease that would kill her, she didn’t give up and was a total badass in the virtual world.
She won a lot of duels, even ones against the god Kirito, and became known as a great duelist.
But what is the most amazing thing about her?
She lived her life to the best, even though she knew she didn’t have much time left.
She also helped many other people who were in the same situation.
It’s all nonsense.
28. Kotomi Ichinose From Clannad
Kotomi is a dandere who is smart in school but can’t move on from her past. This is the fastest way to describe her.
She spends most of her time at the library, which shows how much she loves books. Even her original language doesn’t limit her.
She’s usually in the top ten in any subject, and she just has that air of a smart person.
She is very shy, though, and generally needs someone to help her find her way around in a group.
I won’t give away too much about her past, but it’s a very touching story. Especially with the last thing she gets to remember it by.
27. Hifumi Takimoto From New Game!
Hifumi is the “modern age” figure for sure.
Yeah, she’s a dandere, so it makes sense that she doesn’t like making eye contact or talking to people in person.
But if you give this girl a keyboard, she will type until she dies.
She also uses a lot of emojis, so it’s safe to say that she’s a pretty outgoing person online.
It’s also safe to say that she fits into the group of “those who rarely speak are great listeners” because she is very intuitive and can read people well.
26. Akatsuki From Log Horizon
Man, this girl needs more “don’t judge a book by its cover” people in her life.
I mean, she has Shiroe, right?
But because she is small and has a cute face, everyone else seems to just think she is a child.
So it makes sense that her first online character was a mysterious, tall man.
Of course, this hurt her sense of self-worth.
She always puts herself and her skills down, even though she’s like a badass spy who sneaks around in the shadows.
I mean, even when it comes to love and romance, she feels like a middle schooler, no pun meant.
25. Yoruichi Shihōin From Bleach
Yoruichi reminds me a lot of Blair.
I mean, most of the time she just wants to chill out as a cat. And often changes back just to see how the people around her react.
Most people think she is a man because she uses very manly language and has a voice that isn’t like a cat’s. This gives her extra points for being surprising.
She’s also fine with being naked around people, even though she’s always naked because she’s a cat.
Last but not least, she’s very chill. But also a lot of power.
I want Blair and Yoruichi to meet.
24. Sumire Kakei From Boruto
Oh, that’s the class representative. So grown up, so liked, so smart, and oh boy, she must be keeping something from us.
Warning: she was hiding something, and she was hiding a lot of something.
But in keeping with the pattern, she gets talk-no-jutsu’d back to the “believe it” ninja way.
From then on, she doesn’t do much in terms of story, but she’s a lot more important on the battlefield because Nue is both cute and dangerous.
Also, KIBA, it’s been a while since a good human and animal team worked in the world.
23. Misato Katsuragi From Evangelion
I swear, the people in Evangelion are always the hardest to explain.
You can’t sum them up in a couple of words.
Misato is best described as the show’s laid-back, friendly-but-distant adult, without going into her memories.
She lets Asuka and Shinji live with her. But he is also a slob, a soft-core alcoholic, and any food reviewer would throw up if they met him.
But that is just her “home” attitude.
She is very reliable and calm at work. She takes care of most of the boring paperwork and is also a field leader.
She tends to keep her relationships on the surface, but the story behind her pendant is definitely deep.
22. Touka Kirishima From Tokyo Ghoul
During Tokyo Ghoul, Touka has been important to me in two ways.
At the beginning, she is shown to be a badass fighter, which definitely gets your heart rate up.
When she went up against old tissue sniffer, for example, her strength and presence were clear.
As Kaneki’s love interest, she was the one who got my heart beating the most as the show went on.
She stopped being a powerhouse after their first meeting in the:re café and the big day that came later.
But he or she definitely struck gold in a relationship.
21. Motoko Kusanagi From Ghost in the Shell
Kusanagi is the kind of strong, independent woman that many anime fans want to see more of.
She doesn’t depend on other people all that much, especially in the first season of the anime, and she seems to be much more than just steady.
She is in charge.
Motoko does start out as a “by the book” kind of boss, because even when she was with the Tachikomas, she cared most about getting things done efficiently.
And they weren’t sure if having an awareness was the best way to do their jobs.
She does change her mind over time, and sometimes she even gets back at the guy. If you’ve never seen SAC, you should definitely do so.
20. Dokuro Mitsukai From Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan
Dokuro is a 12-year-old angel from the future who seems to be a good person.
Even though she is only 12, her body is fully grown, and her well-developed bust is the most obvious sign of this.
Sakura is always making fun of Dokuro, which often ends up killing him.
Dokuro is the main character and the Purple Hair Anime Girls.
She shows up in every episode and has killed Sakura and brought her back to life at least three times in each episode.
19. Chisaki Hiradaira From Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea
She is also the only Shioshishio friend who didn’t go to sleep after the Boatdrift Festival.
Chisaki has light skin, and like all sea people, her eyes are blue.
To her embarrassment, she is often called curvy, which generally makes boys pay attention to her.
Before the time jump, Chisaki usually wore her school uniform, but she also wore long skirts and shirts from time to time.
18. Haqua du Lot Herminium From The World God Only Knows
Haqua has Purple Hair Anime Girls that runs freely all the way down to her waist.
She is most commonly depicted in a reddish-brown dress with a thistle colored mini skirt.
The dress and skirt were a one-piece in the manga, but appears to be two pieces in the anime.
She wears matching stockings with high heels.
At her neck is a choker with a large one-piece chain at the front.
Like Elsie, she has a hagoromo that can transform into anything according to her will.
Her characteristic scythe, known as the Scythe of Testament, distinguishes her as an exceptional student.
17. Frederica Bernkastel From Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
Furederika Berunkasuteru is a mysterious figure who only shows up once, at the end of the last episode of Matsuribayashi-hen in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.
There, she talks to a young Takano Miyo about how she now likes to go to other places and play with the “pieces” (or kakera) there.
16. Tsukasa Hiiragi From Lucky☆Star
Yeah I like Tsukasa a little more, sue me.
Unlike her sister, who seems tough on the outside, Tsukasa is very open and honest about how much she loves.
She doesn’t seem to ever get angry, and she always has a calm air about her.
Of course, this is a big difference from her sister.
Tsukasa’s lack of focus makes it hard for her to do simple things like send a text message without help.
Still, she can cook. People say that the way to the heart is through the stomach, so I’m using that to move her up on the list.
15. Nana From Elfen Lied
Nana was a bit different for a Diclonius because she didn’t want to kill or even hurt anyone.
She is neither violent nor cruel.
Most people think that a Diclonius is born with a killing instinct, but her character doesn’t seem to show or disprove that.
Nana’s vectors are longer than Lucy’s, but she doesn’t attack people with the goal of killing them.
14. Kuranosuke Koibuchi From Princess Jellyfish
Kuranosuke is a cross-dresser who wears women’s clothes and make-up most of the time.
Throughout the series, he has worn many different stylish clothes and wigs.
13. Hanyuu From When They Cry 2
Hanyu’s first form looks like a flying, see-through girl with lavender hair, dark violet eyes, and a pair of black or dark purple horns on her head, one of which is slightly broken.
Her eyes glow red when she is angry or using her god powers.
In this spirit form, she wears a red hakama (long, split pants), a white haori (kimono jacket), and a pair of long, pink furisode-like sleeves.
This outfit reminds me of what a Shinto shrine lady might wear.
12. Yuuko Kanoe From Dusk Maiden of Amnesia
Yuuko is a tall, pretty teen girl with a slim build, long black hair, and eyes the color of walnuts.
She used to have the old Seikyou School uniform before it was changed.
Since then, she has been wearing the new uniform, but when Teiichi found her, she changed back into the old one.
Yuuko and her cousin Kirie look a lot alike, but there are some important differences.
Kirie has a slim body, while Yuuko has long hair and a big bust.
Yuuko is not nearly as serious as Kirie, and the two also have very different characters.
11. Faye Valentine From Cowboy Bebop
Faye is a lone wolf who wants to catch hands, not feelings. Even more so early in the show.
She seems to follow the rule “leave before you get left” and never stays around for very long.
She’s also a bit of a hedonist, as she gambles, drinks, smokes, and gets into fights whenever she wants… Basically, everything your parents told you not to do.
Even though she starts out with these traits, they only make her more interesting as her character grows.
Because, let’s be honest, everyone likes to see a lone wolf finally join a pack.
10. Shinoa Hiiragi From Seraph of the End
In the light novels, Shinoa is described as a short, adorable, and beautiful young girl with shoulder lengthened ashen hair same as Mahiru’s, and the large bow on the back of her head is a dark shade of magenta and is at the end of a twisted braid.
Guren describes her as having clear, piercing amber-red eyes that seemed to stare out at the world and skin so pale that it was almost transparent to her blood. On her left arm, she has a black shackle.
She wears a black sailor-like uniform with 10 yellow buttons along the side of the dress. Placed before the last set of buttons, she wears a silver belt, and on her hands are white gloves.
There are 2 green stripes around the wrists of the uniform, and on the neck side, she wears a dark pink bow tie.
9. Yuri Nakamura From Angel Beats!
Yuri is a 160 cm tall (5’3) girl with a upper-back length fuchsia-Purple Hair Anime Girls that has bangs hanging over eyebrows and sea-green eyes.
She also wears black thigh-high socks and adorns her hair with a hairband that has a yellow/green ribbon dangling on the right side.
At times she wears a white beret, most often in operation briefings, as well as glasses when she is using a computer.
8. Renge Miyauchi From Non Non Biyori
Renge has purple hair that is pulled back in two pigtails with yellow ribbons.
Dagashiya gave her the yellow ribbons when she was five years old.
She gets good grades in school and has shown that she is very good at art.
She even learned how to multiply because Konomi Fujimiya told her to use addition as a foundation for multiplying.
She seems to be kind and loving, and she loves being around other people.
7. Kagami Hiiragi From Lucky☆Star
Okay, I’m going to do a combo plate now, because I didn’t think it was fair to leave out any of the Hiiragi sisters.
In every way, Kagami is the tsundere of the group.
She gets angry quickly, especially when her sister asks her for help with something small.
But, like every other tsundere, she does care about her family.
Will she make fun of you? Probably.
Will she be serious? Man, I don’t know, tsunderes are beyond my ability to understand.
6. Minene Uryuu From Future Diary
I found myself cheering for a terrorist on this show. Just by looking at the show she’s from, you can tell that she’s been through a lot of bad things.
And Minene seems to be completely crazy, especially when she first showed up.
She knows a lot about guns, bombs, and anything else that can hurt or kill you.
She also has an Escape Diary, which means she can use it to get herself out of most situations. She has been in a lot of trouble, that’s for sure.
Her past seems to be the only prison she can’t seem to break out of. As flashbacks keep bothering her all through the show.
5. Mizore Shirayuki From Rosario + Vampire
Mizore had long, light purple hair when she was first presented, but she later cut it to shoulder length.
She has blue eyes with a bit of purple at the top (her pupils are not black, but they are blue), and she always has a lollipop in her mouth, which helps keep her body temperature stable.
She doesn’t wear a uniform to school. Instead, she wears a light brown pleated checkered skirt, a white sweatshirt with long dark blue sleeves and a black singlet underneath, a yellow pendant, long dark and light purple striped stockings, white shoes, and a belt around her left leg.
It’s not clear what she keeps in the front pouch of her sweatshirt.
4. Rika Furude From When They Cry
Rika has long, light indigo Purple Hair Anime Girls in a hime cut, fitting her image as a miko.
Her eyes are fairly droopy and amethyst purple.
She is petite, being slightly shorter than Satoko.
On school days, Rika wears a white short sleeved shirt with a pink bow, a navy-blue skirt, navy suspenders, white socks and red or brown shoes.
On free days, she wears a green sundress, with a white bow in the front and white sandals.
3. Saeko Busujima From Highschool of the Dead
Saeko has straight and shiny thigh-length straight purple hair that has a triangular fringe at the front which barely touches the ridge of her nose, blue eyes, sizable breasts, she is quite tall for a Japanese girl.
If there is a zombie apocalypse, the best way to stay alive is to be friends with Saeko.
Most of these characters rely on guns, but Saeko can just grab a blunt object, a fake sword, or even a real sword, or she can go in unarmed and kick the ever-living (or should I say dying) hell out of anyone who gets in her way.
On the other hand, don’t expect kindness if you’re on the other end of the bloody stick.
Unless you’re a baby or a cute cat. I mean, even so…
2. Yuki Nagato From The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Yuki is as kuudere as a kuudere can get.
She ends up in the SOS brigade to watch Haruhi and report back to the Data Integration Thought Entity. Because of this, she rarely shows any feeling.
A few spoilers: In the second season, she was the only one who kept her memories through the endless time loops. The fact that she is still sane shows how different she is from humans in that way.
Still, she feels like a very important part of the group.
I’m not sure why, but the SOS squad wouldn’t be the same without that quiet little girl reading a book in the background.
1. Hitagi Senjougahara From Bakemonogatari
Senjougahara is the girl for you if you like to live life quickly.
When she met Araragi for the first time, she put a stapler in his mouth.
Still, they fell in love with each other.
As a girlfriend, she’s definitely bae, but she comes with a lot of “be careful” warnings.
On the one hand, she seems to understand Araragi very well, and her skills are amazing.
Especially if questions need to be asked.
On the other hand, she can be very jealous, which is dangerous no matter how much vampire blood you have.
She seems to like seeing her boyfriend move around.
But when she’s being herself, she’s so cute that it’s hard to believe, so she’s number one.
