I would rank Kamisama Kiss among the top fantasy romance anime of all time.
The tale and the charming romance in Kamisama Kiss were highlights for me, and when I read it, I was left wanting more of Kamisama Kiss.
So I set out to find other romance anime like Kamisama Kiss that also featured a healthy dose of supernatural elements alongside the more traditional romance fare like Kamisama Kiss and which is definitely similar to Kamisama Kiss.
I’ve compiled a list of the top 15 anime that are very much like Kamisama Kiss.
So on this list is Noragami, which I think is similar to Kamisama Kiss.
A young man named “Delivery God” who does odd jobs for just five Yen. His number is written in red on walls, telephone lines, and other places.
People don’t realize that he is actually a god named Yato. He is a small god who hopes to become famous one day.
He works all day so that one day he can have a temple built in his honor, but he still has a long way to go.
Hiyori Iki, a middle school student, sees Yato getting hit by a car and takes the hit herself to save him. Even though she lives, her soul gets free, and she can now leave her body whenever she wants.
She asks Yato to help her, but Yato can’t do that by himself. So, she agrees to help him meet someone new.
Kagome carries a small, strange jewel with special powers, but she doesn’t know much about it. One day, she is pulled into the old well in her family’s house, and when she comes back, she is in feudal Japan, where devils lived.
Demons from the past can tell how powerful her jewel is, so they are all after her to get it. She meets a boy named Inuyasha who is half human and half demon while she is trying to get away from them.
When he finds out how bad her position is, he agrees to help her. But during a fight, the jewel breaks, and its pieces end up all over the world.
Now, Kagome and Inuyasha must find all the pieces before they fall into the wrong hands.
13. Gugure! Kokkuri-San
Gugure! Kokkuri-san is an odd comedy that is all about Kohina Ichimatsu, who calls herself a doll. When she calls up a fox spirit named Kokkuri-san, her life goes from being simple to being funny.
But, contrary to what most people think, he is no longer the all-knowing, answer-giving spirit from the tale. He can’t do anything anymore because people don’t believe in him anymore.
When Kokkuri-san meets the strange girl who called him, Kohina, he is shocked to learn that she lives alone and eats only cup ramen.
Because he cares about the girl, he takes it upon himself to make sure Kohina eats well and lives a good life. So, Kokkuri-san’s not-very-hopeful plans and their strange life together begin.

Hiiro no Kakera is an otome game, which means it is a Japanese visual novel made for women by Idea Factory.
The main character is a teenage girl who goes back to a small town from her childhood and gets caught up in her family’s past and the supernatural dangers that surround it.
The game came out on July 6, 2006, for the PlayStation 2. Studio Deen made a 13-episode anime version of the book that played in Japan from April to June 2012.
Sentai Filmworks got the rights to show the anime in North America. From October 1, 2012, to December 23, 2012, a second season aired.
5. Inu x Boku SS
I definitely think Inu x Boku SS is very much like Kamisama Kiss. Ririchiyo, a rich fifteen-year-old girl with a sharp tongue and terrible conversation skills, has been protected and sheltered her whole life.
Now, she wants to change that, so she moves to Maison de Ayakashi, a quiet apartment complex. But her parents won’t let her stay there unless a Secret Service agent goes with her, which she agrees to.
She soon finds out that everyone in the apartment complex is unique. All of them are half human and half youkai, and it turns out that she is too.
Follow Ririchiyo as she starts her new life with her supernatural neighbors and a secret service agent who is annoying but very beautiful.
4. Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi
Aoi Tsubaki has always seen “ayakashi”—Spirits from the Hidden Realm—since her mother abandoned her. Her grandfather, Shirou Tsubaki, who had the same talent, taught her how to coexist with the ayakashi.
After her grandfather dies unexpectedly, Aoi must continue her college career with just her cooking skills to shield her from the human-eating spirits.
She feeds the hungry creatures she encounters to avoid being eaten by the ayakashi.
After giving a mysterious ayakashi her meal, Aoi is transported to the Hidden Realm, where the ayakashi turns out to be an ogre-god named Oodanna, the “Master Innkeeper.”
She discovers that she was collateral for her grandfather’s 100 million yen loan and must marry Oodanna to pay for his carelessness. Aoi defiantly opens an eatery at Oodanna’s Inn to pay off the debt.
Aoi’s cuisine changes the ayakashi’s lives in Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi.
3. Inari Konkon Koi Iroha
Inari Fushimi is bashful and clumsy, yet she’s kind. Running through her hometown’s twisting streets, she takes a shortcut through the shrine and finds a little fox pup in a river.
She continues after saving him, but her life changes drastically.
Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami, “Uka-sama,” gives Inari a piece of her power for saving the pup. Inari may now become anyone by yelling “Inari, konkon.”
Could this power help her confess to Kouji Tanbabashi? With her new heavenly ability and the fox spirit Kon, Inari builds a true friendship with Uka-sama, explores the supernatural world, and learns that true love has no borders.

2. Otome Youkai Zakuro
