Rurouni Kenshin Filler List

Rurouni Kenshin is used in Latin America as “Samurai X”. Manga is illustrated and written by Nobuhiro Watsuki and whose adaptation of the anime was produced by Kazuhiro Furuhashi.

The series runs chronologically through the beginning of the Meiji era of the Empire of Japan.

Its most prominent persona of the Empire of Japan is Himura Kenshin who is the name that he uses to describe the show, was an inspiration from the character of the same name “Kawakami Gensai” and other historical figures.

Kenshin is a samurai who has a dark past who is trying to make amends for the sins which he was responsible for and that’s why he is reluctant to make use of his Katana for the first time, and so is reunited with Kaoru who offers him a different viewpoint on the usage of Katanas inherited by his father.

The show enjoyed a huge amount of popularity however, they failed to not provide the correct ending.

This is due to the fact that they added a third season to the show completely with only filler episodes and consequently confused viewers of the ending to know if it is actually and also the awful plot that was featured in the final season.

The only thing that remains the same as the original story of the manga is up to episode 62 and thereafter, you have to go back and watch the final movie to conclude the story.

Filler Episodes to Skip in Rurouni Kenshin

While the anime is 95 episodes, the only thing that happens until episode 62, is based on the original storyline. The rest of the episodes are samurai X filler chapters.

In the time between episodes 1 through 62, there are some filler episodes which I will mention in the list below so you are able to avoid it and enjoy the show at its best without getting bored of the horrible episodes with nothing of any significance.

Mixed Canon/Filler Episodes:
