Police Anime and cops is not a famous genre, but recently I am running out of shows to watch that’s why I start watching these Police Anime lately and to my surprise i enjoyed them.
And as you know Police Anime and Cops have inspired many of us these kinds of characters are like heroes to us because you they usually put there life on line for us to fight crime, drugs, violence.
Police Mans have inspired many Hollywood movies, TV series, and of course, Japanese anime series.

19. Burn Up Scramble
This police anime set in AD. 2023, Tokyo. Because of the change of the society such as internationalization and enlargement of the trading, the dark side of the society also continues changing.
The criminals are getting deep, and their organizations are increasing its size, then the peace and security is getting worse.
The government takes it seriously, and decides to introduce an innovative system. In order to cope with the special criminals, an extralegal police is founded. It is a special criminal team, Warriors, which consists of a few elite members.
Shindou Ranmaru has just graduated from police academy and assigned to Tokki: Special Mobile Investigation Force. On the day of his graduation, he meets the half-naked girl he has been seeing in his dreams, Rokujo Sakura.
It turns out she works for a secret group within Tokki, known as Tokko: Special Public Safety Task Force. Shindou ends up joining Tokko to avenge his parents’ death, and solve the mystery mass murder of residents in his hometown of Machida.
Bottomless pits start to appear around Japan, and mysterious creatures emerge from them, linked to the mass murder of humans. All this to do with something called “The Box of Dirge”
17. Patlabor – The Movie
This police anime is in the future, advanced robotics has created heavy robots (“labors”) for use in a variety of functions: construction, fire-fighting, military, and more.
However, though the robots are only machines, their operators are also only human – and humans sometimes turn to crime. Since a heavy labor unit can be a dangerous weapon, the police of the future are set to fight fire with fire, using advanced patrol labor units, “patlabors”.
This is the story of the Second Special Vehicles Division, a motley crew of patlabor policemen and -women doing their best to fight crime and live a normal life.
16. New Dominion Tank Police
In the follow up to Shirow’s classic police anime, Al, Leona and their trusty steed, Bonaparte, continue to fight crime in New Port City, alongside the rest of the Tank Police.
But a new threat appears in the form of a series of terrorist attacks, using the latest weapons technology.
The Tank Police are out-numbered and out-gunned, but Al and Leona set out to discover who or what is behind these attacks.

Humans have created the Bioroids, a genetically enhanced race of people that have restrained feelings and therefore cannot hurt each other.
She discovers, however, that not everyone is happy with this Human-Bioroid symbiosis: Many humans treat Bioroids as a lower species and as a threat to their future.
The human-controlled military is seeking to annihilate all Bioroids, and the Bioroid-controlled government is afraid of a coup d’état.

You’re Under Arrest is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Kōsuke Fujishima and was serialized in Kodansha’s Morning from 1986 through 1992.
It centers on a fictional police station in Sumida, Tokyo, as its officers tackle everyday criminals while keeping people safe.

Genius investigator Keith Flick rejoins the royal police force, RIS, just as serial killer “B” emerges and commits a double murder. Mysterious youth Koku may be an ally of the group’s — or a target.

An elementary school kid dubbed with the title “shounen bat” or “lil slugger” has been going around attacking people with his bent, golden bat.

7. Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo
Ryoutsu, being an underpaid policeman, is always coming up with underhanded schemes in order to make a quick buck.
But in the end, his plans (which are ridiculous to begin with) always go wrong and land him in big trouble with the chief.
6. Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor
This police anime set in the future, rapidly advancing technology gives birth to giant robots known as “Labors,” so named for their usefulness in heavy industry.
However, this also gives rise to “Labor crimes,” resulting the need for a new branch of law enforcement equipped with and dedicated to the policing of Labors.
When Izumi Noa, a female police officer, becomes the newest recruit of Special Vehicle Division 2, she and her top of the line “Patrol Labor” (or “Patlabor”) Alphonse are swept into a series of adventures featuring crazed construction workers, eco-terrorists, and sea monsters.
5. Hyper Police
Sasahara Natsuki is a poor bounty hunter in a world where monsters and humans live together. Most of her cases involve monsters infringing upon the rights of humans, who are protected by law from their generally more powerful neighbors.
Being half-human and half cat-beast, Natsuki straddles the two societies and tries to understand and respect both while enforcing the law.
She is assisted by a werewolf named Batanen who is afraid to admit he loves her; another werewolf named Tommy; and a Kyubi fox demon named Sakura who has her own plans–which include eating Natsuki to complete her her nine tails and thereby her magical powers.

Detective Conan is famous police anime about Shinichi – a seventeen year-old high school detective, one day. One day, he wakes up and finds that he has become a 7 years old child.
In order to find the reason for this transformation and the one who is responsible for it, Shinichi hides his identity and lives with Ran – his childhood sweetheart, whose father happens to be a hopeless detective, and with that begins an adventurous series of murders and mysteries that he must solve in search for the ones who put him in his awkward situation.
In the future, it is possible to quantitatively measure a person’s emotions, desires, and every inclination. In this way, it is also possible to measure a person’s criminal tendency factor, which is used to judge criminals.
