There are only four other girls living in Koraikan, their names are Mikatan, Ito, Meika, and Rabura. Yūta Iridatsu is one of them.
At some point, though, Yūta is taken hostage on a bus and is suddenly thrown out of his body, turning into a spirit in every way.
Yūta learns from the cat Chiranosuke that he needs to find the book Nandala Gandala in order to get back to normal. But before he can do that, he needs to keep his friends safe from different dangers.

Satoru Mikami is 37 years old and lives alone in Tokyo. He works as a salaryman and would be almost happy with his boring life if he had a lover.
He meets his younger brother in the street and is introduced to his fiancée by his brother. As they talk, chaos breaks out on the sidewalk as a man carrying a knife charges through the crowd.
Satoru is killed when he steps in to protect the couple. He is hit in the back. During his pain, he thinks briefly about himself, and a “voice” listens to him and explains what his “last words” mean.
