Reborn to Master the Blade’s second promotional video, opening and ending songs, additional cast and staff members, and the January 9 premiere date were all revealed on Thursday on the official website for the new television anime adaptation of Hayaken’s Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire (Eiyū-Ō, Bu o Kiwameru Tame Tensei-Su: Soshite, Sekai Saikyō no Minarai Kishi) light novel series.
WHEN AND WHERE TO WATCH Reborn to Master the Blade:
Reborn to Master the Blade’s first airing in Japan is scheduled for January 10 at 1:45 a.m. (January 9 at 11:45 a.m. EST). After that, it will air on AT-X and BS TV Tokyo in Japan.
The dAnime Store in Japan is the first to offer streaming, and additional Japanese services will follow.
The anime will be available on Crunchyroll shortly after it airs.
This anime has been licensed for release in Asia by Muse Asia.
On January 8th, at the United Cinemas Toyosu in Tokyo, Japan, there will be a special preview showing of the anime. The first two episodes of “Reborn to Master the Blade” will be screened.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel series, and it describes the series:
Hero-King Inglis’s last wish is to live again as a warrior. Though when he awakens, he realizes he’s been reborn as a girl to a noble family! Even when rejected from the knighthood, she sets out to be the most extraordinary squire there ever was.
In March 2019, Hayaken started posting chapters of the original novel on the website Shsetsu ni Naru (Let’s Be Novelists).
These books, illustrated by Nagu, are being printed under Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko imprint.
The manga is being released in parts by Moto Kuromura on the Comic Fire page of the Hobby Japan website.
In November 2020, two short anime films were based on the light novel series.

The new promotional video previews the anime’s opening song, “Day 1” by AUO feat. MORISAKI WIN. Yui Nishio will perform the ending song, “Self Hug, Big Love.”
Naoyuki Kuzuya (Saiyuki Gaiden, Wild Adapter, Jūza Engi Engetsu Sangokuden) is directing the anime at Studio Comet. Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-A-Girlfriend, Edens Zero, Anime-Gataris) is in charge of series scripts.
The characters are designed by Reiichir fuji (Fairy Ranmaru Bank animation director), with Tomoko Miyakawa, Rion Matsuda, and Maki Fukui serving as sub-character designers.
Ōfuji, Miyakawa, and Matsuda are the chief animation directors, alongside Masayuki Nomoto.
Kenta Higashiohji (Super Shiro, Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle) is composing the music.
Fumiyuki Go is the sound director, while Emi Takanashi is credited for sound effects.
