In the summer of 2015, Liber Entertainment Inc. launched the original “love rhythm adventure” smartphone game I★CHU for iOS and Android.

The game showcases an impressive ensemble of 42 voice actors who bring the main story to life, complemented by captivating original songs.

The game’s story revolves around a renowned talent agency known as Ailedore, which has established Etoile Vio School, an academy dedicated to nurturing aspiring idols.

Players take on the dual role of a teacher and producer for the students.

The original game concluded its online service in July 2020.

Fortunately, Liber Entertainment quickly updated the game to allow offline play on the same day. This offline version was accessible until December 2020.

A new game called I★CHU Étoile Stage was released in April 2020 and concluded its service in June 2021.

In November 2022, a delightful Nintendo Switch version of the original game was released in Japan.

The I★CHU: Halfway Through The Idol television anime premiered in January 2021 and consisted of 12 episodes.

Crunchyroll happily streamed the series as it aired.
