Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stands are so many to begin with but we are going to talk about best of the best of fighter’s spirit, each possessing unique stats and powers.
In my views this anime is a master piece of absurdism due to its versatility and imagination of the story and characters.
This list wast difficult to make I have tried my best to balance this list between design and power to showcase best of the jojo’s bizarre adventure stand throughout the whole franchise.
So let’s start this awesome list of 30 Best Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stands of all time.
30. Stone Free
The Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Stone Free is a humanoid Stand of a height and build similar to Jolyne’s.
It wears what appear to be a pair of sunglasses varying in darkness, obscuring vertically ridged eyes.
Four blade-like protrusions run over its head from the top of the jaw to the back of its neck, bordering the sides of both eyes.
Cones truncated at a length of one-third the width of its head protrude from the region of the ears.
Stone Free is a unique close-range Stand that can not only be summoned to fight, but also provides Jolyne with integrated abilities.
Like her father‘s Star Platinum, Jolyne’s Stone Free is both powerful and fast, making it great for fighting physically.
|Part:6, Stone Ocean||User:Jolyne Cujoh||Namesake:A Jimi Henrix song|
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Kiss is a humanoid Stand with an athletic build, similar to Ermes’.
It wears a dark jumpsuit along with light shoulder pads, knee pads, and gloves sharing a metallic texture.
Along the middle of its torso is a vertical studded metallic slab engraved with its name, “KISS”, and the letters are contained in separate circles.
Kiss is a powerful close-range Stand who compensates its short range with its speed and physical strength, and its stickers whom Ermes uses cleverly, making it a good addition to Jolyne’s team.
|Part:6, Stone Ocean||User:Ermes Costello||Namesake:The band Kiss|
28. Doobie Wah!
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Doobie Wah! usually manifests in the form of a rapidly spinning small tornado with a vaguely genie-like humanoid figure inside.
It has two short drooping horns, as well as a single short spike jutting out of the lower half of its face, directly below a single mechanical eye. It appears to have something resembling a crown on its head.
Doobie Wah! is a powerful automatic Stand that relentlessly pursues its target no matter how far they are from him but with a straightforward power. Because of its power, it is more suitable for Aisho to sic it on an enemy and simply wait until it kills them than openly confront them.
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Aisho Dainenjiyama||Namesake:A Peter Frampton song|
27. Sugar Mountain
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Sugar Mountain is a Stand bound to the body of an extremely large tree with a small spring lying between its roots. Fused within the trunk are its human victims, most of which display expressions of pain and grimace.
The Stand attaches itself to the great tree and functions as a trial for those who discover the tree and its current guardian. Although seemingly easy to pass, the test becomes more difficult as it goes on and will push a person’s will to its limits.
|Part:7, Steel Ball Run||User:A tree (not joking)||Namesake:A Neil Young song|
26. The Grateful Dead
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand The Grateful Dead is a humanoid torso covered with eyes. It has no mouth. It lacks legs but has large arms, and it walks on its hands, where each has four huge metal-like and segmented fingers evenly spaced around its circumference.
The Grateful Dead’s greatest asset is its ability to forcefully age people over a large area, a terrifying power because of its potential for a massacre.
|Part:5, Golden Wind||User:Prosciutto||Namesake:The band The Grateful Dead|
25. The World / Star Platinum
In colored art, its skin is often a hue between purple, blue, green, and small bits of gold. Its face and body have varying colors.
Jotaro has described Star Platinum as very violent. It is silent, except when it throws punches, during which it cries “ORAORAORA” loudly and repeatedly. With a relatively human face, it may scowl and smile.
|Part:3-7||User:Dio, DIO, Diego Brando; and Jotaro Joestar||Namesake:Tarot cards|
24. Crazy Diamond
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Crazy Diamond is humanoid, with a powerful build and tall stature (about two heads above Josuke).
It is clad in tall headgear, part of a mask (occasionally resembling a Corinthian helmetW); and armour-like plates on many large surfaces of its body, similar to the armour seen on The World.
Cables join the back of its head to its upper back. It bears a heart motif between the top of its head, its chin, shoulders, celiac plexus, belt, and knees; with pairs of short spikes protruding from its shoulders and ankles.
|Part:4, Diamond is Unbreakable||User:Josuke Higashikata||Namesake:A Pink Floyd song|
23. Made in Heaven
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Made in Heaven takes the appearance of a thin, masculine humanoid fused at its waist to the front end of a horse (resembling a two-headed, two-legged centaurW).
A large cable, forming a clean arch, joins the humanoid half between its shoulder blades to the truncated posterior of the horse.
Made in Heaven is an extremely powerful close-range time controlling Stand.
Although its physical abilities may not be remarkable, its control over time grants it an overwhelming speed advantage and even counters abilities that function with a time limit like Star Platinum’s time stop.
|Part:6, Stone Ocean||User:Enrico Pucci||Namesake:A Freddie Mercury song, a Queen album, and a Led Zeppelin song|
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Metallica manifests itself inside Risotto’s body as a swarm of small metallic beings with stitches across their individual bodies. Their mouths are shaped as though they are moaning or screaming.
Metallica’s sessile nature prevents it from attacking on its own, however the magnetic power it produces is highly lethal. Risotto is capable of using this ability to its fullest, particularly to stealth assassinate targets.
|Part:5, Golden Wind||User:Risotto Nero||Namesake:The band and album Metallica|
21. Jail House Lock
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Jail House Lock is a humanoid Stand with a brain-like head, an emaciated body and conical arms. Its body is patterned as though with stitches, including patterns on the chest resembling those of denim pockets.
Jail House Lock relies on its power to cripple its enemies and make them unable to perform any complex task.
Although it is shown to be able slap Jolyne violently enough to send her into a wall, the memory loss it causes impedes Miu Miu’s enemies so much she can directly confront them.
|Part:6, Stone Ocean||User:Miuccia Miuller||Namesake:An Elvis Presley song|
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Mandom takes the shape of a head as the center of what looks like an enlarged, wrist-based item of metallic jewelry, splitting and extending at its ends into long, flowing tendrils.
Dark, its face is featureless except where patterned by a number of small spheres resembling eyes; joined by lines to form a pattern of horizontally oriented lozenges.
Mandom never portrays any form of combat ability, but rather, supports Ringo during his duels. Although keeping its ability a secret would be an advantage, Ringo prefers to explain its power to his opponent due to his beliefs.
|Part:7, Steel Ball Run||User:Ringo Roadagain||Namesake:A Jerry Wallace song|
19. Gold Experience
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Gold Experience is a humanoid Stand of slender build and average height, like Giorno. The top of its head is similar to that of a typical helmet of a soldier, with curved markings similar to the letter J coming down from the eyes on both sides.
Gold Experience doesn’t have any personality to speak of and follows its user’s commands without manifesting any will. Its Stand Cry (seemingly communicated by itself or by Giorno, alternately) is “Muda Muda Muda~!”, like DIO and his Stand, The World.
|Part:5, Golden Wind||User:Giorno Giovanna||Namesake:An album by Prince|
18. The Hand
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand The Hand appears as a humanoid figure typically in attire similar to football pads, though it has several spikes jutting from them.
A towel-like object drapes over its shoulders, with a $ symbol on one end and a ¥ symbol on the other – corresponding with Okuyasu’s own fashion theme of currency symbols.
On each side of the Stand’s face are blinders that cover its headlight-shaped eyes and limit its vision, a result of Okuyasu’s own impulsive demeanor.
|Part:4, Diamond is Unbreakable||User:Okuyasu Nijimura||Namesake:The band, The Band (not a spelling mistake)|
17. King Nothing
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand King Nothing is a hollow humanoid Stand made entirely out of jigsaw puzzle pieces.
It has two long, drooping horns, and long, shield-shaped eyes. Between its horns and the piece around its neck, it takes a shape reminiscent of certain traditional depictions of a jester.
Norisuke IV has revealed to Josuke that King Nothing is a long-distance Stand with very little physical power, making it unsuitable for open fights.
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Norisuke Higashikata IV||Namesake:A Metallica song|
16. Bohemian Rhapsody
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Bohemian Rhapsody only manifests as a phenomenon and thus has no appearance or personality to speak of.
However, the characters brought to life are quite lively, from the jovial dwarfs to the murderous sheep.
Bohemian Rhapsody is an extremely powerful Stand ability which can affect the entire world and has caused untold chaos.
|Part:6, Stone Ocean||User:Ungalo||Namesake:A Queen Song|
15. Awaking III Leaves
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Awaking III Leaves appears as a hooded figure with its legs exposed. Its face cannot be seen but both of its eyes are visible. The cloak it wears has arrows decorating it in a circular pattern, with some facing downward.
The arrows reach from the head all the way to the end of the outfit. At the very end there are tassels hanging from it, and more arrows pointing down in the back of it.
Awaking III Leaves can manipulate vector spaceW by spawning arrows that Mitsuba can place in different directions. It can move energy to where the arrows are pointing, allowing it to negate any foreign entities in the facility of the user, the inside of the user, or wherever the arrows are placed.
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Mitsuba Higashikata||Namesake:The pop duo, Awakening; and the Clubs card suit|
14. Vitamin C
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Vitamin C first appears as several watery hands which leave fingerprints on whatever Damo touches and can spread to others like bacteria.
When confronting Norisuke IV and Josuke on his own, Tamaki Damo reveals more of Vitamin C.
Vitamin C is a terrifying Stand to face in close quarters and in narrow spaces because its softening power renders everyone powerless before Damo.
Vitamin C doesn’t show exceptional physical abilities, but is at least able to punch a softened person into a wall.
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Tamaki Damo||Namesake:A Can song|
13. Civil War
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Civil War is embodied by a humanoid figure. Its head is relatively overwrought, composed of many vertical, elliptical discs pressed together, three of which taper below into arrow shapes; while three objects, resembling those housing the filters in a gas mask, emanate from the base of its neck at its front and sides.
Civil War is a Stand with esoteric powers which relies on its control over people’s guilt to attack them. Otherwise it doesn’t show any combat capability of its own.
Civil War is restrained to the closed space of the garbage dump in which Axl RO ambushes the protagonists although specters can pursue target outside of the building
|Part:7, Steel Ball Run||User:Axl Ro||Namesake:A Guns N’ Roses song|
12. Killer Queen
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Killer Queen is a visibly muscular humanoid Stand about as tall as Kira himself, light in color overall. In both the manga and anime, it is portrayed as light pink, while in the All Star Battle video game, it is portrayed as white.
Killer Queen is unusual among humanoid Stands with complete faces in that its facial expression almost never reflects that of its user, and is instead nearly permanently locked in a wide-eyed, neutral position.
|Part:4, Diamond is Unbreakable||User:Yoshikage Kira||Namesake:A Queen song|
11. Paisley Park
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stand Paisley Park is a humanoid Stand of a feminine figure and a height slightly above Yasuho’s; usually appearing two-dimensional by occupying the place of Yasuho’s shadow or spread across any surface.
It has Yasuho’s hairstyle, and a blank face save for one round eye on its right with three bold eyelashes, and a semi-functioning mouth underneath what would be its skin.
It has an independent personality, since it first manifests unconsciously by Yasuho in order to assist Josuke by bringing him to safety from his pursuer. Paisley Park is loyal to Yasuho and helps her as well as her friends to reach destinations or bypass security.
Though its ability is ill-defined, Paisley Park’s has been described by Yotsuyu Yagiyama as a long-range Stand, resistant to conscious control and of low physical potency.
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Yasuho Hirose||Namesake:A Prince song|
10. Nut King Call
Nut King Call is a humanoid Stand similar in height to Joshu. It has screws embedded both in the sides of its head and its spindly arms; two shield-shaped eyes similar to a bug’s, and a ruff collar of sorts composed of many nuts and bolts.
On its forehead rests a large V. Its face and arms are also textured with slight ridges. By planting nuts and bolts in a target, Nut King Call creates functional artificial joints.
When a nut is removed from a bolt, which may be done almost instantly, the object breaks up and is disassembled. When applied to humans, the process of dismantling body parts appears painless
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Joshu Higashikata||Namesake:The musician, Nat King Cole|
9. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
D4C has a humanoid form with large, upright horns that somewhat resemble the ears of a leporidW; a masked mandible, and a light body lined by an almost unbroken seam or trim.
It’s designed after the image of leather being stitched together, like on a baseball. Under its brow, its eyes appear to emote a cold gaze.
D4C expresses no particular personality. However, representing Valentine’s spirit across all dimensions, passing between a number of his bodies and linking each to the “root world” of the Corpse, D4C’s abilities lend it peculiar depth.
D4C is among the most powerful Stands in the series. In its default form, it is a close-range Stand with above-average strength and speed.
|Part:7, Steel Ball Run||User:Funny Valentine||Namesake:A song and album by AD/DC|
8. Milagro Man
Milagro Man takes the appearance of a humanoid figure of ambiguous s*x. Its body is patterned in upward-facing triangles, including triangular horns on its elbows and shoulders.
It doesn’t have a face, instead, its head, palms, arms and legs have holes that can be seen through.
The story of Milagro Man’s curse originated from its ability. At its most basic, the Stand can create and duplicate money, with the legal tender changing depending on the country the Stand’s money is currently in.
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Anybody||Namesake:The album, Milagro, by Santana; a Elvis Costello song|
7. King Crimson
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stand King Crimson is a humanoid Stand of a height and build similar to Diavolo’s, but tends to look much bigger and taller.
Its body is covered by a raised diagonal grid; save for its face, neck, shoulder guards, elbows, hands, abdomen, crotch, knees, and feet/footwear.
King Crimson embodies Diavolo’s personality in its entirety, as he frequently speaks through his stand.
Aside from that, its face frequently possesses an angry or irritated expression, though on rare occasions, it also shows a maniacal grin when certain events fall in Diavolo’s favor, such as when he gets his hands on the Arrow.
|Part:5, Golden Wind||User:Diavolo/Vinegar Doppio||Namesake:The band, King Crimson|
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stand C-Moon is a humanoid Stand. As a result of the Green Baby fusing with Pucci and his Stand, Whitesnake, it bears similarities to both, giving its appearance a sense of fusion between the two.
C-Moon shows little learning/developmental potential, requiring direct instructions from Pucci in order to act meaningfully; but, shown considering them, it appears to possess a degree of independent intelligence.
|Part:6, Stone Ocean||User:Enrico Pucci||Namesake:A Wings song|
5. Catch the Rainbow
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stand Catch the Rainbow takes the form of a mask worn by Blackmore. A heavy supraorbital ridgeW of a vaguely troubled angle hangs over its eyeholes.
It has no nose, and in the region of the mouth it bears a row of five long, vertical slits, dotted by five holes.
Catch the Rainbow functions as an ability for Blackmore, who personally deploys his control over rain to fight.
Although providing very powerful abilities in heavy rains, the Stand has one major drawback, it requires a natural rainstorm to occur over it’s user and continue during its usage.
|Part:7, Steel Ball Run||User:Blackmore||Namesake:The band, Rainbow, and their song, Catch the Rainbow|
4. Heaven’s Door
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stand Heaven’s Door resembles a small boy similar to Rohan’s manga character, Pink Dark Boy. It wears a long overcoat, closed to the end of its torso, and a bow tie. It has lines emanating from the bottom and the bottom-outsides of its eyes.
Heaven’s Door is a weak close-range Stand unsuited for direct combat, but has several powerful abilities. For an inquisitive mangaka like Rohan, Heaven’s Door is a handy way to gather research material out of people’s pasts without the hassle of an interview.
|Part:4, Diamond is Unbreakable||User:Rohan Kishibe||Namesake:A Bob Dylan song|
3. Soft and Wet
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stand Soft & Wet is a humanoid Stand of a streamlined, robotic form, light in color, and similar in height to Josuke.
On the top of its head is a five-pointed star bound with a circle. Horns roughly two-thirds the width of its head grow from the region of the ears, shaped as tapering pentagrammic prisms.
Soft & Wet is a humanoid close-range Stand. It possesses enhanced strength, demonstrated first when it breaks a large portion of an apartment wall with a single back kick, and is also capable of extremely rapid hand-to-hand combat.
The extent of the damage it can inflict is limited, however, as it is unable to break rocks.
|Part:8, JoJolion||User:Josuke Higashikata (Gappy) / Josefumi Kujo||Namesake:A Prince song|
2. Sticky Fingers
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stand Sticky Fingers is a humanoid Stand of a height and build similar to Bucciarati’s.
Its face is hidden apart from the mouth by a helmet-like covering adorned with a mohawk-like row of short spikes.
Its body is covered in a dark body suit, with the chest and stomach exposed, and has pieces of padded armor over the shoulders, arms and wrists, knees and feet.
|Part:5, Golden Wind||User:Bruno Bucciarati||Namesake:The Rolling Stones album|
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stand Tusk ACT1 possesses sentience separate from Johnny, as it is the guardian of the Left Arm. It decides to appear to Johnny and independently help him.
Despite having a corporeal form, Tusk’s power functions as a supernatural ability that Johnny must use personally to fight like a gunman.
Tusk ACT1 is overall quite weak and isn’t sufficient to challenge most Stand users.
|Part:7, Steel Ball Run||User:Johnny Joestar||Namesake:A Fleetwood Mac song and album|
