Hunter x Hunter is a long-running show with more than 148 episodes. It has a large cast of characters and isn’t afraid to kill off some, or many, of them.
Hunter x Hunter is very popular, even though it hasn’t been updated in a long time, and for good reason. The series is always entertaining because it has a great storyline and interesting characters.
Even though the first episode says it’s going to be an adventure like no other, it’s not as fun as it sounds.
Gon has done everything from catch a fish to take a hunter’s exam to fighting for his life in order to find his father.
Hunter x Hunter promises great fights, losses, and pain, just like any other shonen.

How Did Kite Die?
Kite died when he fought Neferpitou, who was the Royal Guard for the Chimera Ant King. He gave up his life by keeping her busy so that Gon and Killua could escape. After he died, Kite came back to life as a Chimera Ant, but he still remembered everything.
Kite was Ging’s apprentice, and Kite had gone to the Neo-Green Life (NGL) Autonomous State to find and stop the Chimera Ant Queen.
After he got here and heard Ponzu’s message, he went with Gon and Killua to this nest. They couldn’t get away because they ran into Neferpitou, one of Meruem’s royal guards.
Kite fought Neferpitou by himself and died so that Gon and Killua could get away. Kite was reborn as a Chimera Ant and Meruem’s twin after he died. As he grew up, he remembered what it was like to be a human.
Isaac Netero’s Death in Hunter x Hunter
Netero was the leader of the Hunter Association and one of the most powerful hunters in Hunter x Hunter. He died after he stabbed himself in the heart to set off the Rose bomb and kill Meruem, the Chimera Ant King.
Netero couldn’t beat Meruem, and Meruem beat him more than once. Meruem also changed and learned while they were fighting, so Netero had to give up his own life to end the Chimera Ant King’s reign of terror.
In his last moments, Netero said that Meruem didn’t know anything about people, and then he stabbed himself in the heart, setting off the Rose.
Death of Chimera Ant King’s Royal Guards
The Royal Guards of the Chimera Ant King were very loyal and would have given their lives for him. Neferpitou, Shaiapouf, and Menthuthuyoupi, the three guards, all died in the end, but for different reasons.
Gon killed Neferpitou when he found out that they couldn’t bring Kite back to life. To get back at Pitou, Gon didn’t think twice about killing all of his future possibilities. He quickly grew up to an age where he could beat Pitou.
On the other hand, Youpi and Pouf both died when the Miniature Rose poisoned them after they saved Meruem from the blast.
Meruem & Komugi’s Death in Hunter x Hunter
Meruem and Komugi died when Netero set off the Rose bomb, which was filled with poison.
Meruem had the upper hand when he fought Netero, and he seemed pretty calm about it.
But Netero pierced his own heart and set off the Rose bomb to show the Chimera Ant King how strong people can be. This seriously hurt the Chimera Ant King.
Meruem survived the attack because he ate Shaiapouf and Menthuthuyoupi, but the bomb poisoned him and killed him.
Later, Meruem and Komugi both died. Komugi was an innocent civilian who gave up her life so that she could play Gungi with Meruem in their last moments.
How Many Phantom Troupe Members Are Dead in Hunter x Hunter?
The 13-person Phantom Troupe is led by Chrollo Lucifer, and four of them have already died.
Shalnark and Kortopi, two members of the troupe, were killed by Hisoka after he had just woken up and had no chance of surviving.
Uvogin and Pakunoda, the other two members, were killed by Kurapika’s Judgement Chain because he was angry at the Phantom Troupe for killing the Kurta Clan.
Is Hisoka Dead in Hunter x Hunter?
Hisoka died after he and Chrollo fought in a death match at the Heavens Arena. The leader of the Phantom Troupe used several explosive puppets to kill Hisoka, who was already in bad shape.
Shalnark said, after Hisoka died, that he used a lot of the puppets as a “meat shield” to protect himself from the worst of the explosion, but it also choked him to death.
Hisoka could be said to have died once, but he came back to life thanks to his nen ability. When Machi tried to sew him back together, his aura came back from his body. Before he died, Hisoka told his nen to use Bungee Gum to get his heart and lungs to work again after he died.
If someone has a strong will, their nen won’t spread out right away after they die. In the same way, Hisoka’s nen did not scatter because he wanted to live so much. Instead, they did what he said and brought him back to life in a miraculous way.
