Adjusting the Balance of Weapons
Some adjustments were made to certain weapons in MW2 multiplayer, including balancing changes to the Lachmann Shroud and Kastov 762. There are some updates that have been made, including adjustments to the Minibak and other improvements. You can find all the changes here.
Introducing Three Brand New Weapons

At the launch of the season, players would have the opportunity to unlock the TR-76 Geist assault rifle, ISO 9mm SMG, and Dual Kamas melee weapon through the battle pass.
As part of a new store bundle, a delightful surprise awaits you at midseason – the DOOM Chainsaw, an additional fourth weapon to add to your collection.
The TR-76 Geist is a powerful bullpup assault rifle chambered in 7.62 x 39 mm. It is known for its high modularity, allowing it to be customized to suit various tactics and combat situations.
The ISO 9mm, on the other hand, is a weapon that MW2 players will find familiar, as it belongs to the same family as the ISO Hemlock and ISO 45.
According to Activision, players can look forward to dominating the battlefield with the impressive fire rate, maneuverability, and steadiness of this 9mm SMG.
We Have Four New Maps, Two Map Reskins

Season six introduces four exciting new maps, including two six-vs-six maps and two Gunfight maps.
La Casa and Koro Village are part of the six-vs-six offerings, while King and Fight are the Gunfight options.
All four will be included in the game from the start, so there’s no need to wait for a midseason update to start enjoying them.
Continuing with The Haunting’s theme, the midseason update will bring some eerie reskins to two existing MW2 maps.
During the update, both El Asilo and the Embassy will feature a darker theme and incorporate some eerie imagery.
Limited-time event, daily login rewards
There’s an exciting limited-time event on the horizon for season six! It’s a fresh take on the beloved Trophy Hunt event from season three that players absolutely loved.
“Soul” is left behind by players when they are eliminated, and this feature is available in all game modes, according to Activision.
Acquire these Souls, which will be added to your total in all game modes without any hassle of visiting a Buy Station in Warzone or DMZ this time. You can then exchange them for various items displayed in the Events Tab.
According to Activision, players have the opportunity to boost their Soul count by taking on a diverse range of monsters scattered throughout Warzone’s maps.
By redeeming a sufficient number of items, players can unlock some truly impressive themed rewards as a result of their hard work.
Beginning with the midseason update, players will have the opportunity to receive daily login rewards.
These rewards will include a range of free, limited-time cosmetic items that can be obtained by simply logging into the game as The Haunting progresses.
Haunting Variant Game Modes

During the mid-season Haunting update, some of CoD’s beloved modes will receive a seasonal-themed makeover to match the overall theme. Activision has provided descriptions for all four new modes:
- Haunting Domination: Conquer the control points on the map like a pro. However, in this version of Domination, you can look forward to a Scarecrow serving as a marker for each flag.
- Haunting Kill Confirmed/Grind: In the exciting game mode of Haunting Kill Confirmed/Grind, players have the thrilling opportunity to collect skulls instead of Dog Tags. It adds a unique twist to the gameplay and keeps things fresh and engaging.”
