The Laid-Back Camp Season 3 stage event at AnimeJapan 2024 revealed on Saturday that a new smartphone puzzle game, Yurukyan△ ~Puzzle Camp~ (Laid-Back Camp: Puzzle Camp), will be released this year.
The game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account will launch on the same day.
The event also revealed additional information about Yuru Fes, an outdoor festival taking place on June 8–9 at the actual location featured in the manga and anime, located in Yamanashi Prefecture. The festival will also include a music event.
Yumiri Hanamori and Nao Tōyama, Akiyuki Tateyama, the Laid-Back Camp Accoustic Band, and musicians Kiminone and Asaka are set to make appearances at the music festival’s two sessions on June 8 at the YCC Prefectural Citizen’s Culture Hall.
An anime adaptation of Afro’s original manga debuted in January 2018, with Crunchyroll streaming the 12-episode series as it was released.
Crunchyroll also provided an English dub of the first season of Laid-Back Camp
The anime’s second season debuted in January 2021.
The highly anticipated Yurukyan△ Season 3 is set to make its debut on April 4.
Fans can watch the premiere on the AT-X channel at 11:00 p.m. JST, Tokyo MX at 11:30 p.m. JST, and finally on BS11 at midnight JST (effectively, April 5).
A delightful anime film based on the manga premiered in July 2022, and Crunchyroll graciously started streaming the film in November 2022.
MAGES’ Yurucamp Have a Nice Day! game was released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in November 2022, showcasing the delightful world of the anime.
Gemdrops launched the Laid-Back Camp – Virtual – Lake Motosu (Yurucamp Virtual Camp Motosuko-hen) VR game in March 2021, followed by the release of the Laid-Back Camp – Virtual – Fumoto Campsite (Yurucamp Virtual Camp Fumoto Camp Jō-hen) VR game in April 2022.
Laid-Back Camp All-in-one!!, the first smartphone game in the franchise, was released worldwide in June 2023.
