The season’s finale, episode 88 of My Hero Academia 4, was a bit of an unending note and featured the latest twist card from the deck.
Deku has a strange vision that shows him the previous owners of his quirk, and then he meets the first person who uses One For All. The hands of the two meet, and Deku is suddenly awakened by the sound of glass cracking around him.
My Hero Academia has succeeded every time in altering the way it interprets the tropes of superheroes and continues to amaze viewers and readers with its many variations.
There are a lot of questions and theories regarding Izuku’s inherited peculiarity. The One for All will be released in the coming season and it raises a lot of questions like:
- Does Deku have multiple quirks?
- How much power does Deku really have?
- How many quirks does Deku have?
Deku is a character who has many mysteries. Until now, we’ve not had a conversation with his father.
There was a possibility that his characteristics were stolen by a doctor that resembled the doctor who was the caretaker of All for One.
At the time we started, Deku was among the first characters that we made fan theories about.
- Who is Izuku Midoriya’s dad?
- Does Deku Have Multiple Quirks?
- What is One For All?
- One For All Has One Quirk
- One For All Has Six Quirks
- What Quirks Does Deku have?
- How Many Quirks Does Deku have?
Who is Izuku Midoriya’s dad?
What exactly does it mean?
I’m sure you’re thinking about it just after watching My Hero Academia 4, but here, we have answers for anyone who hasn’t read the manga or would like to get some clarification regarding Deku’s characteristics.
Let’s begin to address your concerns.
Does Deku Have Multiple Quirks?
The short answer is “yes and no.”
It’s not a straightforward answer to whether Izuku Midoriya or Deku has several peculiarities. But that’s because “One For All” has an intricate quirk within.
And based on the way you think about it, it may be a no or yes answer.
What is One For All?
One for All is an emitter and a transferable quirk that is passed from one person to another. However, this doesn’t describe the essence of One For All.
As far as we can tell said quirk is capable of three distinct tasks;
- It’s an energy quirk to stockpile
- Show the original quirks of users before them.
- The third one is one we are all familiar with: quirk transference.
Also, with its second feature, it is possible to imagine that One For All has one quirk, or at present, six.
One For All Has One Quirk
It is possible to see that One For All has one peculiarity since the quirks that were passed down by the previous owners of One For All are accepted and integrated into the foundation that is One For All, becoming an integral part of the quirk.
If you think about it this way, you can understand why the flaws that have been manifested are more effective in Deku than in their former users.
A good example is Chapter 213, in which Deku activates the Daigoro Banjo’s quirk to create dark energy emanating from his arms, a phenomenon known as the Black Whip quirk, in reaction to Izuku’s thoughts of capturing a classmate in an exercise for training.
It was observed that the Daigoro Banjo quirk was significantly more powerful in Deku than it was in its original user.
This indicates that it’s gone through some type of alteration and merged with the fast One For All, which is a Power Stockpiling Quirk. This proves that all quirks can be found in one.
One For All Has Six Quirks
Previous users of One for All gave their quirks to their successors in the process of transfer to be identified as having unique quirks.
It was initially the user’s quirk of transference and the force of quirk on him that caused him to use “All For One,” which together forms one for all, as well as the others, which were added later so that they can be seen as having unique quirks.
If we take it this way, so long as there was no evidence that any of the One For All participants were unquestionably similar to All Might (Toshinori Yagi) and Deku (Izuku Midoriya),
- The First User – It’s All For One
- Second User – unidentified idiosyncrasy
- Unknown quirk of the third user
- Unidentified quirk is the fourth user.
- Blackwhip – Daigoro Banjo
- Unknown Perimeter is the sixth user.
- Nana Shimura: Float
- Toshinori Yagi – Oddball
- Izuku Midoriya – Oddball
There is an alternative method that some people consider that Deku’s quirk is seven.
They take the transference quirk along with the power stockpiling quirk as well as having individual quirks. One for all is the plural meaning of the name Quirks.
So, the next question I’ve been seeing is:
What Quirks Does Deku have?
The All for One has six quirks. Deku is currently able to access two of these.
So far, he has been in a position to gain access to the following quirks:
The peculiarity of the fifth participant from One For All, Daigoro Banjo, lets the user make dark energy tendrils through their arms, aiding with grappling and improving the user’s mobility.
The 7th user’s quirk in One For All, Nana Shimura, master and founder of All Might, allows the user to ascend.
Izuku has progressed from being eccentric to becoming one of the most powerful and dangerous people on the planet.
How Many Quirks Does Deku have?
As of Chapter 316, Deku has access to almost every quirk from One for All’s past. The list of quirks goes as follows:
- The first user (Yoichi Shigaraki) was quirkless before being given the Transfer and Power Stocker quirks which make up One for All.
- The 2nd is unknown.
- Fa Jin from the 3rd (unnamed)
- Danger Sense from the 4th (Hikage Shinomori)
- Blackwhip from the 5th (Daigoro Banjo)
- Smokescreen from the 6th (En)
- Float beginning on the seventh (Nana Shimura)
- The 8th (All Might) was quirkless before One for All.
- The 9th (Deku) was also quirkless.
I can’t wait to see what type of hero Deku becomes with all the great power that has been given to him and read more of his story to become the number one hero.
