Konosuba Season 3: Release Date Info

Konosuba’s new anime project has been confirmed. This likely refers to Konosuba season 3. However, there is no release date.

Now the question is, when will Konosuba Season 3 be released? How many light novel volumes will this new season include?

This post will answer the following questions: When is Konosuba Anime Season 3 due out? How many episodes will it have? But first, some important information:

Konosuba is an anime series that combines comedy and fantasy elements. Kazuma Sato is the main character in this anime series.

Kazuma Sato is a teenage shut-in NEET who meets the worst of party members. The archpriest and goddess Aqua are joined by Megumin, the archwizard Megumin, and Darkness, the crusader Darkness. They must work together to defeat the Devil King.

There are currently two seasons of the Konosuba anime. The first season consists of ten episodes. It aired in 2016. The second season of Konosuba, which aired in 2017, has ten episodes. Two OVAs and one movie are also available.

The movie is KonoSuba Legend of Crimson and was released in 2019. This film is the direct continuation of season 2. It is not known if season 3 will begin with it so it is a good idea that you watch it before.

Konosuba S3’s release date has not been revealed. Many fans of the anime series want to know when Konosuba s3 will be released.

Let’s now look at the light novel volumes that the new season will adapt, to and the likely Konosuba season 3 release date.

Konosuba Season 3: Light Novel & Manga

The Konosuba anime series, known as Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! in Japan, is based on a successful light novel.

The Konosuba light novels series was written by Natsume Ashatsuki, and illustrated by Kurone Mizuta.

How many volumes of Konosuba are there?

There were 17 volumes published in Japan as part of the Konosuba light novels series.

You can also find four spinoff light novels and a manga version.

Is the Konosuba Light Novel still alive?

No. The Konosuba light novel is now finished with volume 17. Natsume Ashatsuki (Kemono Michi), published the final volume in Japan on May 1, 2020.

According to the author, he plans to continue writing for Konosuba. It will likely consist of short stories. However, don’t expect Konosuba Light Novel Volume 18.

What volumes will Season 3 cover?

Konosuba Season 3 begins with volume 6 and ends with volume 7. Volumes 1 through 2 were adapted for the first season of Konosuba’s anime. 

The second season of Konosuba anime was adapted in volumes 1 to 2. The movie did volume 5.

Season 3 of Konosuba should contain between 10-13 episodes. I would be surprised if they adopt three volumes instead of just two. 

It will take them ten years to complete the anime if they keep using only two books per episode.

Additionally, the third season will have enough material for Konosuba season 4.

The Konosuba light novels are a great option. This is a great way for authors to get recognition, and the books look stunning on a bookshelf.

Konosuba Season 3: Release Date

Konosuba Season 3 has yet to be released. The only thing that’s confirmed is an anime project. It’s most likely to be Konosuba season 3.

It takes, on average, 12 to 18 months to release a new season after it has been confirmed. However, Takaomi Kawasaki is currently working on Princess Connect! Re: Dive Season 2 is currently.

This is why, even though it’s Konosuba 3, it won’t be out until 2022. Konosuba season three will be released in January 2023, as the first two seasons were released in January. It’s a wonder Kadokawa announced it so soon.
