The stage event at AnimeJapan 2024 for Delico’s Nursery, a television anime based on Kenichi Suemitsu’s TRUMP 2009 stage play, unveiled in a new video that the anime is set to premiere in July on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and MBS.
Delico’s Nursery unveiled additional members of the cast:
- Rina Hidaka portrays the character Uru Delico.
- Konomi Kohara voices the character Lafaelo Delico.
- Ayasa Itō portrays the character of Angelico Fra, while Yū Wakui brings Lucia Lorca to life.
- Sanae Fuku portraying Elena Lorca
- Chika Anzai portrays the character Theodore Classico.

Long ago, the vampire race reigned supreme with their incredible gift of immortality.
In the present day, the power that once existed has vanished, resulting in the division of the world into two distinct groups: the mortal vampire race and the human race, which shares their limited life span.
However, there is a rumor that somewhere in this vast world, there exists a solitary Vampire who possesses the gift of eternal life. VAMP: The original creator of Vamps. People affectionately referred to the origins of the vampire race as “TRUMP,” connecting the first and last letters.
Delico’s Nursery anime features a delightful cast
- Masakazu Morita portrays the character of Dali Delico.
- Katsuyuki Konishi portrays the character Gerhard Fra.
- Hiro Shimono portrays the character of Henrique Lorca.
- Takuya Satō portrays the character Dino Classico.
The anime is being directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori, known for his work on A Certain Magical Index and Azumanga Daioh, and is being produced by J.C. Staff. Suemitsu handles the scripts and series composition and is also credited for the original work.
Yōko Itō, is known for her work on Amanchu! and Golden Time has taken on the role of chief animation director and character designer.
She is bringing her expertise to bring the characters to life, using the original designs by Kōya as a basis.
Shunsuke Wada, the talented composer behind the music for Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and Naruto stage plays, has been chosen to compose the music.

The Delico’s Nursery anime centers around Dali Delico, who leads one of the most esteemed aristocratic families.
The original stage play by Suemitsu premiered in Japan in 2009. Other plays, short stories, and concerts have been inspired by the play.
Suemitsu and Hamaguri introduced the TRUMP manga in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine in November 2020, inspired by the play.
