Tales of Wedding Rings Anime Gets a Sequel

The official website for the television anime Maybe’s Tales of Wedding Rings (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) manga announced on Saturday that the anime will be returning for a second season.

The original cast will be back for the second season.

The staff unveiled a captivating visual to announce the upcoming season. The staff also announced that Miyu Tomita will be joining the cast as Morion.

The Tales of Wedding Rings anime made its debut on January 6 and concluded with its final episode on Saturday. Crunchyroll provided streaming services for the anime as it aired in Japan, and is currently offering an English dub as well.

The Tales of Wedding Rings anime was directed by Takashi Naoya, with series scripts handled by Deko Akao, and character designs by Saori Nakashiki.

Yen Press has taken on the task of publishing the manga in English, describing the story of Tales of Wedding Rings:

Upon learning that Hime is relocating, Satou decides to accompany her.

He unexpectedly becomes the groom after she kisses him during his unexpected appearance at her wedding in another world!

Will Satou be able to face the challenge, or will his new marriage come to an early end?

The manga was launched by the creator duo Maybe in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine in March 2014.

The 14th compiled book volume was released in Japan on December 25. Perhaps aims to conclude the manga by its 15th volume, if everything goes according to plan.

The 13th volume of the manga was released by Yen Press on December 12.

Crunchyroll had previously made the manga available in English digitally starting in 2015, but unfortunately, the manga service came to an end on December 11.
