Future Gohan Will Only Have One Arm In Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Future Gohan will be playable in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, but it was revealed in the latest issue of V-Jump that he will only have one arm.

Even though Gohan is one of the most important and well-known characters in Dragon Ball Z, he hasn’t been in Sparking Zero at all since the game was first revealed. The latest issue of V-Jump has confirmed that Gohan will be playable in both his kid and adult versions, so that has changed recently.

Of course, no one really thought Gohan wouldn’t be in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, but it’s great to see him in action. The bigger surprise comes from the fact that Future Gohan will be on the base roster.

Some fans thought that because the game is so focused on Super, he’d probably be DLC if he was even in the game.

Future Gohan Is In Sparking Zero And Missing An Arm

However, V-Jump has confirmed that he will be on the launch roster, so that is not the case at all. Not only that, but the images of him confirm that he will only have one of his arms, which may seem like an odd thing to mention, but it’s a very interesting detail for anyone who has followed Dragon Ball games over the past few decades.

Future Gohan’s decision to use a Senzu Bean on Trunks rather than saving himself during a battle with Androids 17 and 18 is one of his defining moments. He loses his arm in the process. Dragon Ball has a shockingly graphic moment that fans have remembered for a long time, but the games rarely treat it with the respect it deserves.

Throughout the majority of his gaming appearances. In the future, Gohan is shown with both arms, probably because a character without an arm would change the age rating of each game. To make up for this and to reflect the fact that he loses a limb, Future Gohan’s moves all use only one arm. This is a clever reference, but it doesn’t work without being properly shown.

It appears that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has decided to go a different way with that and shows Future Gohan with one of his arms missing. Given how uncommon it is in Dragon Ball games for that to be the case, it’s a very interesting detail. That might seem strange for Dragon Ball fans to celebrate.
