Call of Duty Bundle Lets Players Play as a Dinosaur in MW3 and Warzone

A playable able dinosaur operator skin has been added to the game by the latest premium DLC pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The skin can be used in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone and can be purchased from the in-game store.

The Call of Duty series is best known for realistic content that recreates real military gear and uniforms. However, in recent years, we’ve seen a great deal more emphasis on silly or fanciful cosmetic additions.

In honor of April 20, a stoner-themed Call of Duty Cheech and Chong crossover bundle was added to the game, which included a playable “Stoney Sloth” operator skin.

Tracer Pack: CODasaurus Ultra Skin is the name of the new dinosaur-themed Call of Duty add-on. It has several cosmetic changes that will give the modern battlefield some prehistoric power.

Games like Battlefield and Dino Mode have a long history of multiplayer shooters and dinosaur jokes, and this pack adds to that.

The CODasaurus pack is centered around Sickle, a playable skin able for the operator Riptide, who also received a skin from the Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Battle Pass. A dinosaur head inspired by raptors takes the place of Riptide’s appearance in the skin.

The raptor’s head also sports a small crown of red feathers, in keeping with recent paleontological discoveries. It has a backpack with a dinosaur embryo in it as well.

Along with the dinosaur skin, the pack comes with plans for two well-known weapons: the “Pack Leader” Haymaker shotgun and the “Dino Might” TAQ Eradicator LMG.

The guns have extras with dinosaur and reptile themes, like furniture with scale patterns and special visual effects for tracers and the dismemberment of dinosaurs. A weapon charm, a calling card, an emblem, and a large decal are some other cosmetics.

Call of Duty’s embrace of a lighter approach to cosmetic additions is entertaining and allows for much more variety than keeping the game’s aesthetic rooted solely in the realm of realistic military simulation or real-world historical references.

The multi player environment allows for a wider range of expression and tone than the story camp environment does in most cases, which is a far cry from the events that take place in the campaign plotlines.

Additionally, the inclusion of well-known crossovers like Warhammer 40K can pique the interest of fans of those franchises in taking up Modern Warfare 3 or War Zone (or spending some money to show their support for the IP).

Keeping up the same level of quality should help the series in the future with crossovers or more creative skin packs and cosmetics.
