Poison-type Pokemon include poisonous snakes, poisonous gases, and even funny garbage bags.
And these Pokemon are worth training because they are very useful and have powerful moves. But don’t just take my word for it.
Some of the most famous trainers, like Janine from Fuchsia City, choose poison type Pokemon.
So, put on a hazmat suit and a gas mask, and let’s look at the most poisonous Pokemon ever.
27. Gastly
Gastly doesn’t really have a shape because 95% of its body is poisonous gas and the other 5% is thought to be the souls of people who died from the gas.
But it always looks like a purple haze around a black ball-shaped Pokémon.
It has a pink mouth that is wide and shows two sharp teeth. Even though its eyes look like they go past its round body, you can see that they are surrounded by eyelids.
26. Foongus
Foongus is a white Pokémon that resembles a mushroom and has a cap that is styled after a Poké Ball. Its arms are short and digitless, its mouth is wide and pink, and its eyes are tiny and dark.
It lures people and Pokémon into grassy areas with the Poké Ball pattern on its head, then defends itself by releasing a cloud of poisonous spores.
Once completely dried, the spores can be used as an effective stomach medicine. It hops or rolls along on its cap, depending on the situation. This Pokémon is short even among the Grass types.
25. Garbodor
Garbodor looks like a big, torn garbage bag with trash spilling out of it. It has a round, bumpy body that is mostly tan but has some blue and pink bumps.
Its head looks like the tied end of a trash bag that has been torn open and is now hanging down like a cape. It has two things coming out of its head that look like clumps of trash.
It has big, round eyes with small pupils. When it opens its mouth, you can see its big, triangular teeth.
24. Skuntank
Skuntank is a Pokémon that looks like a skunk with the face of a cat. It is a medium-sized mammal. It has purple fur with spikes and stripes of tan.
The whiskers that were on its face before it evolved have either gone away or been replaced by purple furry tufts on the sides of its face.
It has tan legs, and the tan color on its underside has changed into a pattern of spikes. Its nose is bigger than it was before it changed.
23. Venomoth
Venomoth is a Pokémon that looks like an insect. Its body is different shades of purple. It has bulbous, round, light blue eyes, a small mandible, and a three-pointed crest on its head. Its head and thorax are a light purple color.
It has three tiny, white legs that are tucked close to its chest. It has several black stripes that go back and forth around its pale abdomen.
It has two sets of pale purple wings with thin black lines that look like moth wings. The dust-like scales on these wings change color depending on how poisonous they are.

Drapion is a big, purple Pokémon that looks like a scorpion. Its eyes are shaped like points and have blue parts on top. Drapion has three sharp points on its head: two between its eyes and one on the back.

The flower has red petals that are round and have white spots on them. The spots on a female Vileplume’s petals are bigger and there are fewer of them.
20. Arbok
Arbok is a Pokémon that looks like a cobra and is made of snakes. It has small, slanted eyes and many sharp teeth. A large hood with a face-like pattern is right below its head.
There are more than 20 ways to change this pattern. The pattern usually has two black-outlined red and yellow eyespots, a wide black line that looks like an upturned mouth, and a V-shaped black stripe above the eyespots.
Arbok can crush its enemies by wrapping its body tightly around them and squeezing them hard.
19. Seviper
Seviper is a Pokémon that looks like a snake and is usually shown coiled up like an accordion. It is mostly black, but there are a few spots on its body.
It has purple marks that look like scars and yellow hexagons that run from its head to its tail. It also has small yellow bumps where it touches the ground.
It has long, red teeth that stick out from its upper jaw, and its eyes are red and fierce. It has a blade-shaped tail that is partly red.
Seviper sharpens its tail on rocks so it can use it for Poison Tail, which used to be its best move.
18. Weezing
Weezing is a purple Pokémon with two round heads that are connected by a thin tube and have a third round head in the middle. The sizes and shapes of the heads are different.
The left head is bigger and has eyebrows that stand out. Its lower jaw has sharp teeth that stick out, and its upper jaw has two flat teeth.
The smaller head on the right has only two sharp teeth, one at each corner of its mouth.
Under the face of the bigger head is a cream-colored skull and crossbones, while the smaller head has a ring instead.
17. Galarian Weezing
Galarian Weezing eats things that are in the dirty air. Instead of droppings, it blows out clean air. The poisons in Weezing’s body build up into clouds of poison gas that leak out and float around it.
Weezing’s best weapon in battle is its poisonous gas, which can stun and paralyze an opponent with just a whiff.
Galarian Weezing eats trash because of the smell it makes.
Strange Steam can only be used by Galarian Weezing, which is the only Pokémon known to be able to use it.
16. Tentacruel
Tentacruel looks like a large jellyfish. It has a clear, light blue body with two large red orbs on either side and a smaller red orb in the middle.
It has black legs that are round and show off its eyes. It has two blue appendages that look like beaks and a lot of grayish tentacles that stick out from its lower body.

Scolipede is a Pokémon that looks like a centipede. When it stands, the front half of its body is usually raised straight up off the ground. Its body is dark magenta on top and smooth and dark gray on the bottom.
It has a pair of long, slightly bent horns on its head that look like antennae, and another pair of the same kind on its back.
The bands on these horns are purple, and each body segment is marked by a teardrop-shaped ring of the same color.
On the parts of its body that make up its neck, it has four pairs of short, purple foreclaws that it uses to inject poison.

Crobat looks like a purple bat and has a small, round body. It has long ears with sharp points, yellow eyes with red pupils, and a small mouth where its teeth are usually showing.
It has two sets of wings on its body. The upper pair is a little bigger than the lower pair, which grew from its legs. The membranes of both pairs are green-blue, but the membranes of the lower pair can only be seen from the back.
Near the middle of the upper wings, there are two points that look like claws. It looks like it has two short feet or tufts of fur on the bottom of its body.

Salazzle is a Pokémon that is dark gray and looks like a salamander or a lizard. Its thin body has a purple underside with dark pink markings that look like wisps of smoke.
On its chest, there is a U-shaped mark with two more lines inside it, and on each hip, there is a similar mark.
The dark gray on its head and neck makes a V-shaped line on its chest.
It has a thin head with two fang-like projections on each side of its lower jaw. Its eyes are purple and shaped like almonds, and the pupils are slit.

Toxicroak is a two-legged Pokémon that is dark blue and teal. It looks like a poison dart frog. It has a softly curling spike on its head that looks like it is part of the skull.
Its eyes are bright yellow and scary, with a small pupil that looks like a snake. Its red upper lip curls up at the ends in a very intimidating way, making its mouth look like a mouth guard.
It has a big red vocal sac under its chin, which is smaller on a female Toxicroak. Each hand has three fingers and a big red claw on the back.
11. Venusaur
Venusaur is a short, four-legged Pokémon with blue-green skin that is bumpy. It has small, round, red eyes, a short, blunt nose, and a wide mouth with two pointed teeth in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw.
It has small, pointed ears on top of its head that are pinkish red on the inside. Each foot has three clawed toes. The bud on its back has opened up into a big pink flower with white spots.
The flower is held up by a thick, brown trunk with green fronds all around it. The flower of a female Venusaur will have a seed in the middle.
10. Alolan Muk
Muk is a big, sticky, shapeless Pokémon made of purple sludge that is alive. It has two small eyes with black pupils that look like beads.
It also has a huge mouth with a gray tongue and strings of slime that connect its upper and lower jaws.
Even though you can’t see its legs, it has two arms and three fingers on each hand. But most of the time, it keeps one hand tucked in and holds out the other.
9. Nidoking & Nidoqueen
Nidoking is a big, purple, two-legged Pokémon with clear reptilian traits. It has small eyes, big ears with spikes, tufts of fur on its cheeks, and a short snout with sharp teeth.
Nidoqueen is a big, blue Pokémon that walks on two legs and has clear reptilian traits. Its body is covered in very hard scales that protect it well from attacks and stand up when Nidoqueen gets angry or upset.
It has a flat nose, brown eyes that aren’t very big, and big ears with brown insides.
8. Toxapex
Toxapex is a small Pokémon with big tentacles that look like starfish coming out of the top of its head. It has bright blue eyes with yellow sclera and pupils.
Its main body is dark purple and is split into two parts: the head and the lower body. Its head turns dark blue where the tentacles meet at the top, and its lower body has sharp triangles that stick out in all directions.
Due to the length of its tentacles, its body is often hanging in the air.
7. Naganadel
Naganadel is an Ultra Beast that looks like a cross between a dragon and an insect. It has thin arms and a long neck on its upper body.
The top of its chest, neck, head, and arms are all light purple. Its waist is dark purple and has a stripe of fuchsia on each side.
Each shoulder has a long gray spike, and each hand has three claws that are kind of pinkish purple.
Dark purple stripes go down each side of its neck and meet in the middle of its chest to make a loop. The bottom part of the loop is fuchsia, and in the middle, there is a short downward extension.
6. Nihilego
The Ultra Beast Nihilego looks like a jellyfish. The bell is almost see-through and has white star-shaped marks all around it. The blue edge of the bell is wavy and flares outward.
It looks like it has jelly-like tentacles, which give it a vaguely human shape. Several tentacles connect to look like a cape or long hair, and four shorter tentacles look like shorter hair or arms.
The legs of the human shape are two long tentacles. Aside from the way it looks, it sometimes acts like a young girl.
5. Dragalge
Dragalge is a Pokémon that lives in water and looks like a common sea dragon. Its body is curved in a way that looks a little bit like the number 3.
It has thin vertical lines on its light purple sides, but most of its body is a dull brown color. It has two red eyes and a light purple patch on its face. It has a long, tubular nose that points up, and a thin appendage on the back of its head.
It has a red leaf-like crest on top of its head and two brownish-green antennae. On each side of its body, it has a thin limb that looks like a leaf, and its tailfin also looks like a big leaf. On its back, there are three small spikes.
4. Roserade
Roserade is a two-legged Pokémon that looks like a mix of roses and people in masquerade costumes.
Its hair is made of white rose petals, and it wears a green cape with leaves and a yellow bangle around its neck that looks like a collar.
The pattern on the cape goes all the way to the back of its head, where it forms spikes that look like petals.
A male’s cape will be shorter than a female’s. It has red eyes with yellow lids and a dark green mask over its face.
Its lower face is light green, and it holds a red bouquet in its right hand and a blue bouquet in its left. It has light green legs and a light green bottom. The tips of its feet are yellow.
3. Toxtricity
Amped Form Toxtricity is a Pokémon that looks like a lizard. It has two legs, a purple body, and a yellow belly. It has electric frills that go from the tip of the nose to the back of the neck.
It has black eyes with white centers. It has two short horns on its head and two big horns on either side of its eyes. Two smaller electric spikes and four purple horns with four yellow spots each are on its back.
Six organs protrudes on its chest. It has a crescent-shaped part of its body with seven spikes in the middle. Each of its arms has four spikes on the wrist.
2. Eternatus
Eternatus is a gigantic, draconic alien Pokémon. Its body looks a bit like a dragon’s, with a skeleton-like shape, and is mostly dark violet with red spots.
It has a long, thin body and tail that look like a spinal column. It also has four small, thin legs that end in claws made of thin, straight legs attached at right angles.
Its torso is made up of a cage of appendages that look like ribs, and inside is a glowing pink core that gives Eternatus its energy and keeps it alive.
1. Gengar
Gengar has a round body and is dark purple. It walks on two legs. It has red eyes, a wide mouth that is usually curled into a scary grin, and pointed ears.
It has many spikes on its back, and smaller spikes on top of its head that look like tufts of fur. It has short arms and legs, and both its hands and feet have three toes. It has a short tail, too.
Gengar can hide perfectly in the shadow of any object, which gives it a high level of stealth. Gengar’s body, on the other hand, is a heat sink.
