Warzone 2 is now available for fans to play on PC and consoles worldwide.

Warzone, a free-to-play battle royale game published in 2020, has seen its popularity skyrocket in the following two years.

Its successor, Call of Duty: Warzone 2, is set to follow in its footsteps. In 2020, there were an astonishing 85 million Warzone participants, and in 2019, that figure climbed to almost 100 million.

In addition to the classic battle royale action, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 incorporates new elements, such as the Circle Collapse system, which generates many safe circles across the map.

The Gulag gameplay element comes back from Warzone, but now it’s a two-on-two battle.

There was a lot of anticipation for the release of Warzone 2 due to the success of the original game and the widespread appeal of the Call of Duty series, but fans will not have to wait much longer.

Warzone 2 is set to release on November 16 at 10 AM PT, as previously announced by Activision; fans can get early access by downloading the game pack in Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is linked to Modern Warfare 2 because both games share the same engine, just like 2019’s Modern Warfare and the original Warzone.

Users that are only interested in playing MW2 do not, however, have to download Warzone 2.

It was previously reported that Warzone 2’s file size is extremely large, taking in over 100 GB.

Although this sum may include the essential foundational files for running Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it is unlikely.

Please be aware that the original Warzone has been taken offline, but that it will be relaunched as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera at 10 AM PT on November 28.

If you want to keep playing Warzone, you won’t be able to for around a week and a half.

However, Warzone 2 offers free bonuses to anyone who has played the original Call of Duty: Warzone, which may entice players to give it a shot.

Not only does Warzone 2 have a battle royale mode, but there is also a new DMZ mode that places an emphasis on survival and being able to get out of the zone.

In this multiplayer shooter, players will go up against both human and computer-controlled enemies while trying to recover the loot and make their way to the safety zone.

PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S all support Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
