Welcome to the Barony of Babalon, a place where fierce warriors clash and unconventional thinkers express themselves.

Following the passing of the Babalons, Rize Babalon, the young inheritor, is now both the Baron of Babalon and the ruler of the Barony of Babalon.

However, once he ascends to the rank and files paperwork to assume control, the rank-and-file citizens of the barony revolt and attempt to seize power instead.

But to protect himself, Baron Rize does what he excels at!

He is extremely accommodating to the citizens!

Magic is a powerful force that grants the nobility and aristocracy the authority to govern.

However, our young baron chooses to utilize that power to benefit the citizens and secure a comfortable life through certain means.

Or so he believed!

His popularity soars overnight, and he is hailed as a hero by his supporters!

Despite his groundbreaking magic, he had no desire for a revolution.

He simply desired a peaceful time by the seaside, without any involvement in any unlawful activities!

He initially began with a lack of knowledge and resources, but now the situation is becoming chaotic!

And so, The Bottom-Tier Baron’s Accidental Rise to the Top begins!

Overlap released the first light novel series by author Mazi and illustrator Falmaro in April 2020, with the third volume hitting the shelves in June 2021.

Overlap debuted Parabora’s manga adaptation on the Comic Gardo website in October 2020, and released the ninth volume on September 25.
