New Call of Duty Skin Comes With Controversial Upgrade

The Killer Serial Creep Party Pack, which includes an operator skin that grants multiple XP bonuses when at least two members of a party have the skin equipped, is now available to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone users.

Critics have already said that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 skin is “pay-to-win,” and it may remind CoD fans of an older strategy.

Modern Warfare 2 added skin bundles with pay-to-win upgrades for the DMZ last year. For example, you could get a free medium backpack at the start of every match or an extra operator slot added permanently.

While man was not surprised by Activision’s strategy, the bundles were criticized for providing meaningful, game play-affecting upgrades to those willing to pay extra money for a game that already costs a premium price.

Even though this strategy has been criticized, it looks like the Call of Duty franchise has decided to stick with it in a way that doesn’t have as much of an effect on other players.

Users get the Rave skin, which comes with a “Party Skin Bonus,” after spending 1600 CoD Points to unlock the Killer Serial Creep Party Pack.

Additional Killer skins are set to be released in the future, according to an in-game message that states users get double experience points and double weapon experience points when two or more party members wear the same skin.

A double battle pass XP bonus is also given if three or more party members have Killer skins on.

New Call of Duty Skin Gives Double XP Bonuses

Users of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone can now buy the Killer Serial Creep Party Pack, which includes an operator skin that grants multiple XP bonuses to party members when at least two members have the skin equipped.

One complaint about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 skin is that it’s “pay-to-win,” which may remind CoD fans of an older strategy.

Earlier this year, Modern Warfare 2 added skin bundles with pay-to-win DMZ upgrades, like getting a free medium backpack at the start of every match or permanently getting an extra operator slot.

Although many people weren’t surprised by Activision’s strategy, the bundles did draw some criticism for providing significant, game play-changing upgrades to those who were willing to pay more for a game that already has a high price.

Although this strategy has been criticized, it looks like the Call of Duty franchise has decided to stick with it in a way that doesn’t have as much of an impact on other players.

Users get the Rave skin, which comes with a “Party Skin Bonus,” after spending 1600 CoD Points to unlock the Killer Serial Creep Party Pack.

When two or more members of the same party wear the same skin from the Killer series, members earn double experience points and double weapon experience points.

Additional Killer skins are set to be released in the future. Additionally, a double battle pass XP bonus is applied as well if three or more members of the same party have Killer skins equipped.
