Former Nintendo Employees Show Off Impressive 3DS Collection

The impressive Nintendo 3DS collection of Kit and Krysta, two former Nintendo employees, was showcased in a video.

The two say they have a collection of more than 100 items because they were able to see the Nintendo 3DS through all of its stages while working at Nintendo.

Having a physical collection of Nintendo 3DS can be seen as an honor these days. After Nintendo shut down the servers for the 3DS and Wii U, handheld game players had to use physical media to play new games or make do with the digital media they already had.

The process of getting a new physical game for the handheld is now extremely expensive and frequently not possible due to the server closures, which have driven up the price of 3DS game media.

Man y fans were left speechless and filled with envy when Kit and Krysta showed off their impressive 3DS collection on YouTube.

Their collection contains more than 100 items, including rare editions of Fire Emblem Fates and Bravely Default, which comes with AR Cards that can be read using the Nintendo 3DS camera.

Nintendo always added new features to its consoles, and the Nintendo 3DS was the only one that could read augmented reality.

In Kit and Krysta’s collection, they have sealed copies of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and Pokemon Ultra Moon that, despite being in perfect condition, don’t cost as much as you might think. While they do have a sealed Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, which, according to PriceCharting, is worth $170 on average in perfect condition, it is one of the most expensive Nintendo 3DS games available.

Kit directed social marketing and original content at Nintendo, and Krysta was senior manager of creator relations. When a new game was released, Nintendo would give them a copy because they needed the knowledge.

This gave them a treasure trove of gaming knowledge, like when they said New Super Mario Bros. 2 was one of the first Nintendo games with DLC.

Someday, Nintendo should add DS and 3DS games to the Nintendo Switch Online service so that people who don’t have Kit and Krysta’s huge collection can still play Nintendo 3DS games.

While some game fans have been able to keep a lot of Nintendo 3DS games and other content, there are currently no official or legal ways to play the games on new hardware.
