New Call of Duty: MW3 Event Offers Flashy Animated Camo

The all-new Vortex: Vi.Rus Mainframe event in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has started, and the awesome Binary Mortality camo is the final reward.

Between now and May 8, when the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 event ends, players can earn the camo.

A good day for Call of Duty fans, as the company just announced the Season 3 Reloaded update, which will add new content to Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile on May 1.

There are new maps and game modes for MW3’s multiplayer, missions and schematics for MW3’s zombies, a kill streak for Warzone, the Golden Week for Warzone Mobile, and a lot more in this downloadable content.

Even though fans are waiting for the big update, they can still enjoy MW3’s brand-new event.

The Vi.Rus Mainframe event in Modern Warfare 3 requires players to earn a lot of XP (548,500 to be exact) to unlock the event’s final reward.

As discussed earlier, this last reward is the Binary Mortality animated camo, which has red, yellow, and black streaks that always move toward the top of a user’s weapon.

Users will unlock 11 additional items as they advance toward the reward, such as two XP tokens, a battle pass tier skip, two calling cards, one emblem, one charm, two stickers, and two decals.

The new Horsemen Vi.Rus Ultra Skin Tracer Pack, which includes the Bacillus skin that can be worn to earn bonus XP while the event is live, is available to users who want to finish the event faster and are willing to spend over 2,400 CoD Points.

Although Call of Duty re-added the Vortex Mosh Pit playlist along with the event, XP earned in any playlist counts toward the event’s rewards.

All Rewards In Modern Warfare 3’s Vi.Rus Mainframe Event

  • Loadout weapon sticker
  • Point and Click decal
  • Pop-Up, Pop-Off emblem
  • Going Viral decal
  • Got Hacked calling card
  • Block Fly charm
  • Sneakin’ In sticker
  • Error Code calling card
  • Double weapon XP token, double battle pass XP token, and battle pass tier skip
  • Binary Mortality animated camo

People liked the Binary Mortality camo as soon as they saw it, because not every Modern Warfare 3 event has a final reward as flashy as this one.

Although users won’t be able to earn it for free, Call of Duty recently added another free flashy item: a dinosaur skin.

The Binary Mortality camo looks great, but it can’t compare to a recently released Call of Duty Mobile weapon skin that sets a new standard for paid cosmetics in the series. As you look at the Call of Duty Mobile skin, a scene that looks like a Hollywood action scene plays out on top of the weapon.

The U Assist Veterans Challenge event starts on May 8, after the Vi.Rus Mainframe event is over. This is the next step in Call of Duty’s long history of helping veterans. Few details have been revealed about the event so far, but on May 6 more details will be shared.
