For the most part, it’s easy to categorize outfits in the Goth fashion category.
In any case, it has developed and adapted over time.
You’ll still see women in corsets and men with black lipstick and guy-liner.
There have, however, been many new variations and interpretations of the black-red-and-lace combo during the course of the subculture’s 40-year history.
There are a number of TS4 custom content pieces that would be ideal for designing an emo adolescent, or for making Bella Goth live up to her family’s reputation.

20. Rainbow Nails by simlaughlove
It’s nearly impossible to wear emo fashion without black nail paint.
Wearing it indicates that your Sim is listening to the bands on infinityonsims’ Band Tee recolor, which has thick eyeliner and silver crosses.
Considering that The Sims 4 doesn’t have a nail polish option, this CC already has a leg up in the “original concept” stakes.
Furthermore, the color isn’t limited to black.
Indeed, the name should already give you an idea of the vibrancy of these nails.
Please note that there are 30 different color schemes and color combinations to choose from. Look in the Rings section of the Body Accessories section).
There’s no need to wait till you want to create a gothic Sim to make advantage of these stunning, candy-colored Rainbow Nails.
Solid (which I like for gothic Sims) and multi-colored options are available.
For those who want a more vibrant look, the multi-colored option features “Instagrammable” swatches.
19. Sleepy Hair by simandy
There’s nothing wrong with ombre and balyage hairstyles.
Solid-colored pieces of hair with bangs, on the other hand, are iconic and eye-catching.
Rogue (from X-Men) could be having an influence.
Maybe it’s because it’s so casually cool. It’s charming, for reasons that aren’t quite clear.
Whatever the case may be, simandy’s Sleepy hairdo is a stunning interpretation of the theme.
Imagine yourself with kohl-lined eyes, dark-purple lipstick, a rocking choker, and a flaming red mane of hair, all with a stunning bone white or black stripe running through them.
I’m at a loss for words to describe how stunningly gothic the image is.
It’s possible to create a wide variety of looks with the 58 different hair colors and 58 different colored hair strands available (see the Hats category).
18. Trillyke – WOLO Fishnet Tights & Socks Set by Trillyke
Do not be alarmed if you notice that there are no fishnet stockings on this list.
I’ve found a set that will comfort your Sim’s gothic spirit.
This pair of WOLO Fishnet Tights and Socks by Trillyke is very unique.
No, these aren’t your average fishnet stockings.
They follow a routine.
I mean, you can get a basic fishnet one if you’d rather (because there is a variation of that in this set).
What’s the point of doing that if you could have crosses strewn throughout?
Roses with a touch of class?
What are the constellations and the phases of the moon all about?
For a completely new appearance, wear your favorite pair of colorful socks with your fishnets.
This is a gorgeous look, too.
How about a pair of black socks with sultry black thigh bands and fishnet stockings to complete the ensemble?
Words can’t do justice to this CC, so I’ll let the teaser images speak for themselves.
17. Somnus/Choker Set by Pralinesims
Chokers, chokers, and more chokers.
When they look this beautiful, it’s hard to go wrong.
I’ve stated it before, but I’m a major admirer of this person.
Concept, execution, and attention to detail are all at the pinnacle of every CC item that they produce.
This choker set just reaffirms what we already know (and more).
The basic design is a solid black band with a front opening and a hoop clasp made of what appears to be leather (albeit not as rough as the prior Grimoirh Choker).
The main design of the first version (1) is a black band with a hoop clasp.
Solid band with a little bell linked to the silver hoop is number two (2).
In contrast, the third (3) hoop has no bell attached to it.
Second and third designs are combined in this fourth (4) design; front studs and a bell are attached.
In a total of five color swatches: white gold (the standard), rose gold (rose), and yellow gold (yellow), each variant is available.
If you want to mix and combine, there are 20 unique chokers to choose from.
16. Grimoirh Choker by Pralinesims
Is there any goth who does not own a large number of chokers?
Oh my God, it’s almost 2020.
They became popular in the 1990s and never went out of style.
So it would be a disgrace if I didn’t have one on me at all times (on my neck).
Wide-necked shirts and off-the-shoulder tops look stunning when worn with chokers.
Pralinesims’ corset-clasped choker is no exception to this rule.
With alternating lacing at the front and a soft-leather-like feel, this band is broad and sturdy.
It’s worth noting that the texture details are excellent.
Feel free to zoom in on the lining, lumps, and crevices if your device supports high-definition graphics.
It’s a masterpiece.
Leather isn’t your thing, is it?
No worries, there is a lace version of the same choker called the Camlann Choker that is just as beautiful.
You may see it by selecting the Recommended option on her website.
15. Fibrin Cuffs by RemusSirion
RemusSirion’s Fibrin Cuffs are similar to the Basic Emo Fingerless Gloves, but they’re a notch above.
It’s more “hot, sensual leather couture,” than “cute, cotton arm candy.”
If it seems like something you’d be interested in, then this CC is for you.
A black leather cuff embellished with criss-crossed (corset-style) ribbons is what this CC is all about.
A piece of it is wrapped around the middle finger of the hand and connected to a plain silver ring.
Elbow and/or upper arm straps are wrapped in the same black material as the straps farther up the arm.
Straps may be positioned in seven different ways.
It’s a touch more daring and risqué than the majority of the alternatives.
But it’s impossible to dispute the sheer coolness of it.
14. Basic Emo Fingerless Gloves by MaruChanBe
These fingerless gloves are everything but simple, as their name might lead you to believe.
These distinctively designed arm attachments are another another classic must-have for disaffected youth.
To make matters even better, the dark liner, silver chains, and black torn jeans look great with these sunglasses.
They’re also suitable for emo Sims, since, hey, they’re nice enough for scene queens.
In addition to the conventional black-and-colored stripes, MaruChanBe now offers checkerboard patterns and neon skeleton arms in three distinct color combinations.
A solid black version is also available. It’s obvious that it is.
13. The Remedy Shoes by EvellSims
They’re “simply some adorable goth boots, because why not?” says the designer.
Goth shoes have an unforced edginess to them, but in a nice sense, that I wholeheartedly agree with.
In particular, if the shoes have a lot of embellishment and embellishment.
Here are some Remedy Shoes to get you started.
High-heeled knee-high boots with an almost absurd number of buckles and spikes. A chain dangles from the right one.
What I like the most about it is how ridiculously out there it is.
12. Chunky Combat Boots by Sims4 Marigold
A pair of well-worn grave stompers is essential for every gothic and emotionally-charged Sim. The more fatty, the more delicious.
With a five-inch heel on clunky combat boots, Sims4 Marigold gives a gothic/punk classic a fashionable twist.
As a matter of fact, why be delicate and prim with Mary Jane shoes when you may be upfront, brave, and completely terrible?
There are 14 fantastic hues to choose from, most of which having a black sole in them.
Your Sim’s black soul will match the color of this item.
Pink, purple, and mint green versions are the sole outliers (and the second black swatch).
To go along with the baby-blue color scheme, the bottoms of these shoes are white.
11. BYRA – Crop Sweater with Hood by Helsoseira
As much as I love me some Helsoseira (once again), this particular cropped sweater is simply too adorable to leave out.
In either black or dark grey (the essentials of a goth’s wardrobe), the patterns are just amazing.
What are these alchemical symbols and chain links printed on them?
I never expected to enjoy these specific aesthetic and emo pairings, but there you have it.
But you know what’s my favorite part?
The openings for the thumbs.
Thumb holes in long sleeve shirts have a special place in my heart.
In addition, every Sim can pull off a cropped sweater with ease.
That’s the way things go these days.
10. DSF Coat Umbra Nocte by DanSimsFantasy
In the description of this CC coat by its maker, the author states:
“A design based on the mystery and depth of the night, devoted to the passion and intensity of a man.”
Honestly, if it doesn’t answer all your questions, I don’t know what would.
It’s a knee-length trench coat with a wonderful patterned pattern.
The front of the jacket has what appears to be velvet swaths for the cuffs and collar, which are presumably made of gold or bronze or anything of the kind.
As a bonus, the shoulders are squared, which most doubt helps to accentuate wide shoulders, and the patterns cleverly include decorative flourishes like fleur-de-lis and honeycombs.
In addition to the standard black, it’s available in a whopping 14 other hues.
9. GEKI – MALE – Goth/Industrial Shirt by Helsoseira
On the list: Helsoseira. Here’s something more relaxed for a CC post this time around (but no less stylish).
The silver buttons, lining, pleather, and crosses on this Goth/Industrial Shirt make it a deliciously modern twist on a quasi-mid-century gothic aesthetic.
It’s less ornate than their MAEL gothic tee, but it’s also more current.
A clean-cut haircut, no jewelry, light acid-washed denim and some scuffed-up sneakers wouldn’t seem gothic at all with this shirt. In fact!
But who really wants that?
Those aren’t the reasons you’re here.
Cuff your wrists with leather cuffs, a choker, a slew of chains, and a pair of skin-tight black narrow pants. It’s time to unleash your Sim’s inner goth!
8. DSF_TOPBERTHIERRITA by danartdigital
One of the best CC artworks I’ve ever seen comes from danartdigital.
Black turtleneck shirt in three gothic (and really amazing) patterns.
Long-sleeved shirt with mesh and flowers as the main motif is displayed.
Black torn bandages cover spider-web mesh in the other long-sleeved variant (arguably my favorite).
One of the most “traditional goth” designs is a short-sleeved turtleneck with pleated corset details.
I mean it when I say that you should go through the entire website. Self-described children (Sims) of the night will squeal with excitement at the prospect of such an adventure.
7. DSF_TOPONIX by danartdigital
Here you may purchase one of three different styles of a body-con mid-thigh bandage dress, all of which are so exquisitely gothic as to be painful.
There are some really cute Sims 4 CC outfits all around this internet, so who knows?
To be regarded a part of the subcultures of goth – whether it be contemporary goth, medieval goth or space goth – they’re black and edgy with just enough pleats, frills, chains and fishnets.
Take a look at this racy little number. For those who prefer a more demure look, this dress is ideal for the gothic fashionista, the femme fatale, or the casual night owl.
Yes, it’s a little over-the-top.
It’s not something I would wear every day.
The same thing?
What difference a year makes.
It’s available in a variety of styles, as well.
There isn’t one that stands out above the rest for me.
6. Galactic Witch Toksik Kaliah Top Recolor by opesims4 (mesh needed)
This line’s moniker alone conjures up images of edgy, fashionable blouses.
To satisfy even the most gothic of tastes, there are plenty of gloomy hues (mainly black) to choose from.
What about the heavenly bodies?
This is a work of art.
To sum it up, there are 16 different styles represented here, ranging from the basic black-and-white style to kaleidoscopic patterns inspired by the cosmos.
This recolor by opesims4 is evidence that “goth” and “galactic witch” aren’t mutually incompatible terms.
There is no need for further proof that these styles are related than the word “witch” in the brand’s name.
To make this work, you’ll need Toksik’s original mesh, the Kaliah (top).
It just so happens that the mesh is a stunning cold-shoulder strappy item, and it’s also available in black.
When your Sim is feeling more like a goth than a witch, this is a great option.
5. NIDA – V.2 Goth Shrug Dress w/ Leg Garter by Helsoseira
For the ladies, there is yet another wonderful work by Helsoseira, this time.
Then there’s the fact that it’s one of a kind.
Even while leg-length garter-belt features are present, this NIDA Goth Shrug Dress has a unique design for TS4.
This garment made the cut because of its meticulous attention to detail.
To create a custom-content winner, the small chest window, the open cuff sleeves, and the various black-and-white “manga” designs for each swatch come together effectively.
Also, yes. I’m sold on the sexy seatbelt feel.
For a gothic look, add a smoky eye, a black lip, and a pair of clunky sneakers to your ensemble.
4. Band Tees Recolor by infinityonsims (mesh needed)
To demonstrate your Sim’s affinity for the emo aesthetic, have them don some cool emo/rock band clothing from the Hot Topic store.
There is no joking around here.
In the description, it’s stated explicitly by the game’s designer.
Maxis Match t-shirts that are loose, casual, yet edgy enough to be labeled emo fashion can be found in the Band Tee (Recolor) by infinityonsims.
Musical icons such as My Chemical Romance, Metallica, and all other bands that revolutionized emo-punk, punk-rock, gothic rock in the 1990s are featured on these shirts.
Also, you may download the mesh if you want additional colors or want this shirt in Alpha CC texture.
There are 40 swatches total, with the majority of them being in shades of black, gray, and dark-grey.
However, it’s not all from Hot Topic.
3. MAEL – Gothic Shirt – Male (Updated) by Helsoseira
The MAEL Gothic Shirt by Helsoseira is a great addition to your Sim’s wardrobe if the preceding item was too casual or too punk-goth for your Sim’s taste (which; fair).
A gothic, avant-garde, quasi-Renaissance-style tune that evokes strong images of Count Dracula in the current day.
I see Dracula wearing this with some tight pleather leggings to a wild house party.
The shirt’s primary fabric is available in seven earth-toned hues.
The chest piece, lining, collar and cuffs are all black and silver.
To that end, I must praise the chestpiece’s aesthetics.
It is just stunning.
It has a flawless symmetry thanks to a lot of intertwining and overlapping lines.
Fake corsetry on both sides further slims the waistline.
2. Giruto 43 Long Sleeves Layer Tee by Studio K-Creation
I’m aware that this look is more punk than gothic, but I like it anyway.
In fact, it’s more in line with the “suburban scene” teen”genre.”
Because punk and post-punk music is an extension of gothic rock, I’m going to classify this TS4 CC as a gothic subculture.
Because the shirts are so amazing.
As for the designs, many of them are gothic or gothic-rock or grunge-inspired.
Casual goths often wear undershirts with black and white striped patterns.
There you have it.
It’s true: even the most awkward Sims can pull off these huge Giruto graphic tees.
Add some guy-liner and a pair of clunky combat boots to the mix.
It’s a slam dunk.
1. Gothic Corset & Skirt for Sims 4 by Annett
Corsets and full-length skirts are a Goth Girl staple, so I’m going to start with them.
A great two-for-one (or should we say six-for-three?) deal, the Annett Gothic Corset and Skirt for The Sims 4 may be worn individually.
In this way, you may tailor a gothic dress to your Sim’s own style.
With a pair of pants, do you prefer the corset?
You can accomplish this.
A rocking top would be a better choice to go with the skirt.
Anything goes, really.
Simmer, as gothic fashion is all about individuality and self-expression with the use of gloomy hues, you do you.
You’re free to do what you want with your life.
