We recently discussed the details of Play in Color, a collaborative campaign involving Ebonix, Dark & Lovely, and The Sims 4.
The campaign’s main goal is to highlight the importance of inclusivity and diversity in our gameplay, reflecting the core values of Maxis.
We recently received the latest Play in Color free content from The Sims Team, delivered right to our doorstep through a Sims Delivery Express (SDX) Drop on April 2, 2024!
Get Your New Sdx Drop
The new SDX Drop is definitely something that will get you excited!
With the assistance of hair professionals from Dark & Lovely, the Sims game developers successfully replicated 24 vibrant shades from their latest Immersive Bolds collection.
These colors will be available for use with two existing feminine hairstyles in the game.

SDX Drops can catch Simmers off guard with their unexpected arrival!
We were actually given a heads up about the SDX Drop a few days ago. So, we’re familiar with the routine!
- Please open The Sims 4
- On the game’s home page, you’ll find the SDX Drop in the lower right section. Whenever it pops up, the game will update itself without any hassle.
- If the update doesn’t start automatically, you can simply click on Game Options and navigate to the Sims Delivery tab.
- Simply click on the “Check for New Content” option and, if necessary, restart the game.

We’re really excited for the upcoming SDX drop from The Sims Team in July 2024, especially after releasing these amazing new colors for two of our feminine hairstyles in the game!
Well, it’s definitely one of the things that we absolutely adore about The Sims 4.
