What is the Sims 4 Free Build Mode?

The free build cheat is not available for some places like University dorms.
You can customize their appearances and make them your own.
This cheat can be used to modify the appearance of University dorms.
All “special” lots can be edited in Sims 4 with the free build cheat.
This includes all secret lots and all vacant lots.
You can also change the look of your career buildings with the free build mode.

How to Enable the Free Build Mode in Sims 4?
It is very easy to activate the free build mode within TS4.
If this is your first attempt at using this cheat, follow these steps!
Allow cheats to be used in your game.
You must first make sure cheats in Sims 4 are enabled before you can use any cheat.
Simply press the SHIFT + CTRL+ C keys on your keyboard to do this.
The CTRL button on a Mac should be Command.
The 4 back triggers on a controller should be sufficient.
After the command console appears (in the upper right corner of your screen), enter the following cheatline.
Hit enter after you have finished typing.
You should now see the message “Cheats Enabled”.
Add the free build cheat.
After cheats have been enabled, add another cheat to the command console box.
The free build mode cheatline is “bb.enablefreebuild”.
When you hit enter, it will activate the free build mode.
Use the free mode of building.
The free build cheat is still active.
However, this mode can be used to alter the appearance of lots within the game.
These are, as I said, the University dorms.
However, you can also use this mode to change the appearance of other places such as the Magic Headquarters in Realm of Magic.
Disable free build mode.
It’s a good idea to turn off the mode after you have finished editing your lot using the free build cheat.
Open the command console by pressing CTRL + Shift + C. Next, type “testingcheats false” into the dialogue box and hit enter.
Now cheats will be disabled in your game.
