Viral Hit is set to debut in April on Fuji TV’s Ultra+ programming block with the title Kenka Dokugaku (the Japanese name of the webtoon).
Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime episodes as they are released in Japan.
The series will be available for streaming in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS.
Directed by Masakazu Hishida (known for Fairy Ranmaru and KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm), the anime is being produced from Okuru to Noboru.
Toshiya Ono, the mastermind behind The Promised Neverland and Land of the Lustrous, is in charge of the series scripts.
Satomi Miyazaki, known for Tomodachi Game, is handling character design, while Yutaka Yamada, famous for Tokyo Ghoul and Vinland Saga, is composing the music. Slow Curve is in charge of producing the series.

Thin high school student Hobin Yu is perhaps the most unlikely candidate to become the face of a NewTube channel focused on combat. After receiving guidance from a secretive NewTube channel, Hobin quickly starts defeating opponents who are more powerful than him and earning a substantial amount of money. Will Hobin be able to maintain this pace, or will he face a worthy opponent?
The webtoon was released in Korea in November 2019. The series started being published in English by Webtoon in October 2020, and has released 205 chapters as of February 20. Webtoons are available on the LINE Manga app in Japan.
Taejun Pak, the author of Lookism, also serves as the CEO of PTJ Comics.
