Lego Mario Kart Sets Are Coming In 2025

Nintendo and Lego have been working together for almost four years, turning more and more of the Mushroom Kingdom into Lego blocks.

Lego hinted earlier this week that it would be announcing plans to add to its Super Mario collection for Mario Day.

Now we know exactly how that world will grow. By featuring Lego Mario Kart sets in the year 2025.

What will happen next in Lego’s Mario world was announced the day before March 10, which could be because Mario Day was saved for announcements that weren’t related to Lego.

No information has been given about how Lego’s Mario Kart sets will look. The official teaser for their release in 2025 shows the clear outline of a Mario Kart racing track under the Lego Super Mario logo.

Lego Mario himself briefly appears out of the shadows to make an appearance.

A message that says “Ready, Set, Build! Racing in 2025” appears at the end of the teaser. In the background, the sound that plays when a Mario Kart race starts can be heard. Although there is a long wait, these sets will likely be very detailed.

Because Mario’s current Lego sets have interactive parts, it seems likely that fans will be able to drive these Karts around once they’re finished, with Mario and other characters who have already been turned into Lego sitting inside and responding to their surroundings.

For those who think that Wario and Waluigi sets might be introduced, the teaser that said something Mario-related would be announced this weekend showed mysterious characters interrupting a presentation. What the host meant by “they” was Mario Karts coming in.

However, Wario and Waluigi will still be included in the exciting new expansion. If the Lego Mario Kart sets are going to be complete, they might include the two bad guys as well as many other characters from the Mario Kart game series.

Lego’s Mario Kart sets could come out at the same time as the next Mario Kart game, which is set to air in 2025.

The official release date for Nintendo’s successor to the Switch hasn’t been announced yet, but if it comes out in Q1 2025 like rumors say it will and the next Mario Kart game comes out at the same time, matching Lego sets are likely to sell better than any other time.
