Players have been quick scoping their way through every multi player game mode Call of Duty has to offer for the better part of 20 years, even Search and Destroy, though we wouldn’t advise it.

Just what is quickscoping? This word was created in the early days of Call of Duty and Counter-Strike to describe a certain way to use a sniper or marksman rifle.
To “scope” into their sniper rifle and wait for an enemy to pass through the center of the crosshair, a player would typically hold down the right mouse button or analog stick.
However, it was found that a player could accurately fire a shot down range while in the scope-in animation and before switching to zoomed vision.
The stopping power of a sniper rifle shot without having to wait to scope it is higher the closer the enemy is. A game changer, it was.
Quick scoping quickly gained popularity thanks to the media, and the rest is history.
Before you can quickscope, you need to get a sniper or marksman rifle and practice timing your shot until the crosshair is in the middle of the screen.
To start scoping in, press the L2 button (PlayStation), the left trigger (Xbox), or the right click (PC). Fire and unscope just as the screen turns to the scope screen. With luck, your shot will land if you timed it right.

When it came to quick scoping, the 2019 MW changed the game. If you wanted to quickscope, you could get a marksman rifle, but sometimes they weren’t powerful enough to guarantee kills.
Sniper rifles felt heavier and slower. So, a lot of players switched things up and chose a marksman rifle instead.
The SA-B 50 is good for man players who are looking to scope in MW2. The ADS speed and fire rate are faster than sniper rifles, so you’ll be able to quickly chain your shots together.
It has a quick rate mode, but players shouldn’t be looking through scopes at targets that are too far away.
While focusing on rechamber speed, handling, and movement accuracy, this loadout also increases range enough to guarantee a one-hit kill at medium range.

Two Base Perks, one Bonus Perk, and one Ultimate Perk are the four perks you can select for your class in MW2.
The best perks to pair with your quickscope class are:
- Base Perks: Scavenger and Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix or Ghost
By granting you replacement parts and ammunition, Scavenger will help you stay fully equipped. when you run over dead enemies with throwing knives, which are your best dangerous gear by the way. Boosting mobility and improving your tactical sprint, Double Time should be your second choice.
This build depends on the bonus perk Fast Hands a lot. When it comes to your reload and weapon swap speed, the perk has a massive benefit.
Given that you’ll be stopping and starting while quick scoping, getting your weapon ready and reloading it faster will ultimately yield more kills in the long run.
For your ultimate perk, I’m offering two choices. After losing health in a gunfight, Quick Fix has saved me time and time again by granting me medial regeneration after a killing blow.
