Rock Bandai Namco just recently confirmed that Sparking Zero will have fan favorites like Whis, Videl, Beerus, and adult Gohan.
Additionally, the games have rarely touched on the fact that future Gohan only has one arm. We finally got to see all of them in action in a new gameplay trailer.
The trailer starts with Piccolo and a young Gohan sparring. Next, Videl and an older Gohan with two arms train together. Finally, Future Gohan with one arm and Future Trunks fight in the ruins of West City.
After that, Gohan fights Androids 17 and 18, which are the ones who made him lose his arm in the first place. They threw bombs at the area while Trunks was unconscious so that they would catch them in the crossfire.
They managed to survive, but Gohan lost his left arm because he gave Trunks the Senzu bean instead of keeping it for himself.
Additionally, the trailer shows the angel Whis and the god of destruction Beerus working out together. Here is a picture of it for you.
When Is Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Releasing?
Although there is still no official release date for Bandai Namco’s Sparking Zero, rumours from earlier this year suggest that it will launch in late 2024 or some other time in 2025. Every trailer, including this new one, ends with “Wishlist Now,” so we’ll have to wait and see if these claims are true.
It’s worth noting that Sparking Zero finally received an ESRB rating in March, which means it will probably come out this year. The game was given a T rating, which is normal for a Dragon Ball game.
However, the fact that it went from “Rating Pending” to an actual classification indicates that the game is likely to launch soon.
We might see it in October or November for the series’ 40th anniversary, following in the footsteps of previous Budokai Tenkaichi games.
