An ender chest is a chest that stores items in Minecraft. However, it has an additional perk.
It shares inventory with other ender boxes placed anywhere in the world, even in other dimensions like the Nether and the End.
The contents of an ender chest will not fall out if it is damaged. You can either retrieve the contents from another ender box in your world or create a new one.
It’s much more difficult to create an end-chest than an item chest. This is because it requires obsidian blocks as well as an ender eye.
Both of these items are harder to find than other items.
Ender Chest Materials:
You will need the following items to make an Ender Chest:
- 8 blocks from Obsidian
- Eye of Ender
Obsidian: How do you get it?
Obsidian can also be mined where water meets lava. This means you can also start the production of obsidian.
Grab a bucket and scoop the lava into a pit of four blocks. The water should flow down to the lava at a certain height.
This will cause the lava to turn into obsidian, which can be then mined using a diamond pickaxe.
It can also be obtained on the Nether Portal or in its unlimited form on The End’s platform.
How do you get the Eye of Ender?
The Eye of Ender is a tool that can be used in Minecraft. The Eye of Ender is an ingredient that can be used to create other objects, such as the Ender Chest.
Crafting is a way to obtain the Eye of Ender. To craft the Eye of Ender in Minecraft, you will need to gather ablaze and ender powder.
Endermen are tall, slim mobs that drop ender pearls. Blaze powder is made from blaze rods.
Blazes are hostile flying golden mobs that can be found in nether fortresses and drop blaze rods when they are killed.
To make blaze powder, use the blaze rods. After you have the blaze powder, the ender pearl, and the crafting recipe is shown below, you can use them to make blaze powder.
How to create an Ender Chest in Minecraft
For Ender’s chest, place eight Obsidian pieces around the outer perimeter of the crafting GUI. Leave a space in the middle.
To complete the crafting process, place an Eye of Ender in the middle of the grid. Simply click on the ender chest and grab the block from the crafting table. Drag it into your inventory.
This is the pictorial step-by-step guide that you will need to follow in order to create an Ender Chest for Minecraft.
Step 1: Open the crafting table
To begin crafting the ender chest, open your crafting table with the ingredients from your inventory. Click here to learn how to build a crafting table.
You will find the 3×3 grid on your crafting table. It is similar to the image below.
Step 2: Place the Obsidian
You must have at least 8 obsidian block inventory. Place them on the grid, filling every space except the middle. Take a look at the image below.
Step 3: Place the eye of the ender
One spot on the grid will be empty once you have placed the obsidian. This is the place where we will put our second item, the eye of Ender.
The ender chest will be on the opposite side of the eye of the ender as soon as it is placed.
Step 4: Place the ender chest into your inventory.
Now that you have the ender chest made, drag it into your inventory.
Q. What is the difference between an ender chest and a normal chest?
There are two main differences between the chests. The first is that items don’t drop from ender chests that are destroyed.
However, they will drop from regular chests. Another difference is resistance to an explosion. An explosion cannot destroy an ender chest, but a normal chest may.
Q. What do you put in an ender chest?
A. You can put anything in an ender chest. You should give priority to items of higher value, such as diamonds and emeralds. You should also have enough food to last you until your items and chests are lost or destroyed.
If you have the ability to access blocks of obsidian at a rapid rate, ender chests are a better choice than standard chests.
You should always have an ender box handy, regardless of whether it is in your inventory or at each player’s base.
The best storage system in Minecraft is the ender chest, which can store 729 items.
