Dragon Ball Super Manga Goes on Hiatus

In the upcoming issue of Shueisha’s V Jump magazine, it was revealed that Toyotarō’s Dragon Ball Super manga will be taking a break.

The hiatus will begin with the magazine’s next release in April.

The magazine did not provide any information regarding the resumption of the manga’s serialization.

The manga had a brief hiatus in August 2022 to get ready for the upcoming arc, and it returned to serialization in December 2022.

The manga began its “Super Hero” arc, which is the adaptation of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film, in March 2023.

The manga by Toyotarō was launched in V Jump in June 2015 as an adaptation of the Dragon Ball Super anime. However, it takes a different path from the anime in various aspects.

On April 4, Shueisha will release the 23rd volume of the manga.

Viz Media is graciously publishing the manga online as it debuts in Japan, and will kindly release the 21st compiled volume on May 14.
