Ninja are historical figures from old Japan that have become well-known, but many of the things people think they did aren’t really true to what they did in real life.
In anime, they are shown even less accurately, and they often have superpowers and are very strong. But one thing is for sure: you won’t see or hear them coming, and before you can say “ninja!” their star-shaped blades will be at your throat.
Many great ninjas have been created over the years in the bright world of anime. Some of them are better than the others. Each fighter is a master in their own right, whether it’s for how fast they are or how well they can use their skills.
Join us as we talk about the best anime ninja fighters.
13. Itachi Uchiha
Because of his sad past and emo opioid addict look, Itachi is one of the most loved characters in the Naruto series.
The way this powerful ninja handles things is rough.
Even though he had good reasons, he did kill his whole family, cause his brother to become a power-hungry psychopath on purpose, and perform many other crimes as part of Akatsuki.
He might not be the nicest person.
That being said, Itachi beats most of the other ninjas hands down thanks to his Mangekyo Sharingan skills.
12. Utusro (Gintama)
Because he is evil and a major danger to Gintoki and the other main characters in Gintama, Utsuro must have the most bodies. He is able to accept Altana and live on, no matter how much damage he takes.
He killed a lot of people without any pity after he got out of jail. He can’t get enough blood, and killing other people gives him a strange sense of pleasure. He seems to be able to live forever and has killed a lot of people, so his body count is crazy high.
11. Gennosuke Kouga (Basilisk)
Before he is a ninja, Gennosuke Kouga is a scholar. On the other hand, he is the heir to the Kouga Manjidani Clan and has a powerful dojutsu that is even stronger than Naruto’s.
Because of his dojutsu, he can turn an enemy’s desire to kill into the enemy itself, making them kill each other or themselves. He also trains in kenjutsu (swordplay) in case his eyes stop working.
Gennosuke is smart to have all of his tracks covered in case he can’t count on one. This is also good for him. It’s hard to say how many people he has killed by accident with his dojutsu when he has it trained against them.
10. Tengen Uzui – Demon Slayer
Tengen Uzui is one of the coolest and strangest cartoon ninjas. He also seems a bit cocky. Tengen is also a strong fighter who learned how to be a great ninja from a very young age.
He also taught a lot of the best Demon Slayers how to do their job.
His fellow warriors didn’t like how showy he was, but they still looked up to him and admired his amazing skills and fighting abilities.
There were also some very strong monsters that Tengen had to fight in Demon Slayer. This show is about Tanjiro’s risky adventures as he tries to save his sister from becoming a demon and get revenge on the people who killed his family after they were attacked by demons.
9. Sasuke Uchiha
Because he picked an unnecessary dangerous path to get revenge on his brother Itachi and get back at his clan, I’ve always disliked Sasuke.
I mean, Itachi was a criminal that police all over the world were eagerly looking for.
They would finally catch him.
Why couldn’t Sasuke just join the Anbu?
It’s good that all that giving up did give him the power he wanted. He got the Mangekyo Sharingan and became one of the strongest ninjas of his time.
8. Speed-o’-Sound Sonic – One Punch Man
One Punch Man also has its own ninja killer, who has to fight some of the game’s fastest characters. Sound Speed-o-Sound Sonic, also known as Sonic, is a trained spy who let anyone who pays the most hire him.
This bad guy ninja was also a protector, and he would kill his targets and anyone who got in his way with no mercy.
He is a ninja who is sure of himself and was excited to finally fight Saitama to see how strong the famous fighter really is.
This cruel killer mostly shows his cynical side, but he also has a softer, more moral side. One-Punch Man is about Saitama’s experiences as the overpowered superhero who protects the people of City Z from bad guys.
7. Shinobu – Ninja Nonsense
The lead character in Ninja Nonsense is a strange female ninja who makes you laugh out loud. Shinobu is a brave and happy young girl who is also a natural ninja.
She can easily beat even strong enemies who bother her. She showed a lot of potential, even though she was only an apprentice ninja trying to pass all her tests.
This ninja show is one of the funniest ones out there, and anime fans who like weird and funny shows should check it out. In Ninja Nonsense, Shinobu’s adventures begin when she tries to steal Kaede’s underwear so she can finish one of her ninja tests and ends up becoming friends with the girl.
6. Rantaro – Nintama Rantaro
Rantaro is one of the cutest cartoon ninjas ever, and he and his friends go to the Ninjutsu Academy. Rantaro always stays upbeat and keeps his mind on his goal of becoming a strong ninja one day, even though he has to learn a lot of hard new skills.
Rantaro and his friends have fun adventures while they study for their next tests. Nintama Rantaro is one of the best school anime.
It takes place in the Sengoku Period and has a lot of wonderful and interesting characters, such as pirates and ninjas. The story is about Rantaro and his friends’ daily lives and the crazy things they do at the ninja school.
5. Shota Aizawa – My Hero Academia
Shota Aizawa, also known as Eraser Head, is the secret ninja of My Hero Academia. The strong UA High School teacher and Pro Hero knows a lot about martial arts and fights with a lot of ninja moves and stances.
This man is quiet and prefers to be alone. However, he has a very sharp mind and an interesting quirk.
Eraser Head also has a very unique way of fighting. He usually sleeps or just hangs out, but during fights he often shows off how strong he is.
He cares greatly about his students and all innocent people, even though he seems quiet and emotionless. To become a Pro Hero, Deku goes to UA High to study. The story of My Hero Academia follows his travels there.
4. Naruto Uzumaki – Naruto
Naruto Uzumaki is without a doubt the most loved and well-known ninja in anime. From a very young age, the boy trained to become a strong ninja who stands guard over and saves innocent people.
He went from being a wild and playful kid to a thoughtful and honorable ninja fighter with skills that no one else had.
Most people in Naruto’s village avoided him and didn’t believe in his abilities, but he never gave up. His unwavering optimism and drive even inspired others.
Naruto’s story is about the boy Naruto’s adventures as he heads out on a trip to become a respected Hokage in his village.
3. Souei (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime)
Souei’s first episode as a ninja was one of the best. He made a name for himself in an anime with a powerful main character. Even though Rimuru gets all the attention, Souei is a very strong ninja because of his amazing skills.
He does, however, love torturing his prisoners before killing them. He is very good at making multiple copies of himself, and he has also shown that he has the Insta-Kill power to kill his enemies right away.
Taking these skills into account, Souei has killed enough people to be on the same level as his Rimuru City coworkers and the Ogre that lives there. It’s clear that he has a lot of kills to account for.
2. Jubei Kibagami (Ninja Scroll)
It was possible for Naruto to be a hit before it came out because of the popular cartoon movie Ninja Scroll. Ninja Scroll: The Series, a TV show that aired in Japan in 2003, was made after it.
Even so, a lot of anime fans in the US don’t know about it or the main character, Jubei Kibagami, who is a ninja who wants to take a break.
Jubei is a nomad who used to work for the Tokugawa government. This means he isn’t afraid to use dirty tricks to get what he wants. He is not only very good with a sword, but he has also learned the Wind Slash method, an iaijutsu sword method that lets him cut through the air itself.
There is no way out for anyone in its path; it makes you wonder how many people have been on the other side of his blade.
1. Kakashi Hatake (Naruto)
For those who know Naruto, Kakashi is the relaxed and chill sensei. But in Naruto Shippuden, an arc showed how he had a dark past while he was in the Anbu. The Anbu are a secret group that keeps the Hidden Leaf Village and the Hokage safe.
His father killed himself because he felt guilty about killing other people. Kakashi joined the Anbu when he was young and worked with Itachi.
The Anbu are more like killers than ninja in Hidden Leaf Village, so it makes sense that they have killed more people than anyone else. In fact, Kakashi has killed more people than all of the other characters put together.
Thank you.
