Release date and time, where to watch?
On Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. JST, One Piece Episode 1046 will air on Japanese TV. For a small number of international fans, this means that the game will come out on Saturday night in their country.
But most international fans, like Japanese viewers, will be able to watch the episode where they live on Sunday morning. The exact release time depends on the country and time zone.
About 90 minutes after the episode airs in Japan, people in other countries can watch it on Crunchyroll. Even though Funimation still streams new episodes of the show every week, the delay is much longer than on Crunchyroll. As a result, Crunchyroll is the better place to watch the next episode.

- Eastern Standard Time: 9:00 pm, Saturday, January 7

What to expect? (speculative)
Most likely, One Piece Episode 1046 will be about Zoro and Sanji going back to fighting, since Zoro’s wounds are finally starting to “heal.”
Even though this healing process makes Zoro feel less pain, he will still be able to return to the battlefield as a key player.
Fans should see the two start to fight against the King and Queen of the Beast Pirates. They might also hear about Luffy’s plans to fight Kaido again.
Since almost every other fight in Onigashima has ended in one way or another, these three fighters are the main ones who are still actively fighting.
Fans haven’t seen much of Yamato vs. Kaido since the fight started, but Episode 1046 is likely to show a little bit of it.
People in the community talk a lot about Yamato’s Devil Fruit, so fans are very hopeful that the next time she fights Kaido, it will be a matter of when not if.
