Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent Mobile RPG Manga Series Ends

Square Enix’s Manga UP! app and website recently released the last chapter of manga artist Ot’s Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent.

This manga adaptation tells the story of the Bargello family from Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent mobile RPG.

The manga was released on Manga UP! on January 30. Shibatarō Nakamura is responsible for the original story, while the Champions of the Continent Management Team oversees the manga.

The prequel manga illustrates Bargello’s early encounters as a young man when he was still unknown.

Bargello, who enjoys spending time with his friends in the town of Valore, unintentionally rescues a young woman fleeing from the greedy witch Herminia.

He discovers a mysterious ring on the young woman’s hand, rumored to possess mystical abilities.

Following the rescue of the young woman, Bargello and his companions realize that their destinies are now intertwined with Herminia.

Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, the prequel mobile RPG set on the same Orsterra continent as the original game, was released for iOS and Android devices in October 2020 in Japan and worldwide in July 2022.

The initial release of Octopath Traveler was in July 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, reaching players globally.

The team behind Bravely Default also worked on Octopath Traveler.
