Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Bug Gives Peter a Skeleton Suit, and Fans Want an Official Version

In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a strange bug in the graphics gives Peter Parker, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, a scary new look.

Fans of the game voiced their approval of the “new” Spider-Man 2 suit, and some have asked for an official version to be made for the in-game costume gallery.

When a big or complicated game comes out, it always has bugs and glitches. Spider-Man 2’s New York City, which is a huge open world, is no different.

Sometimes, though, bugs and glitches are fun and make the game even more enjoyable for fans.

This is especially true for bugs or glitches that reveal something new or funny without ruining the game for other players.

The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Skeleton Suit Glitch Explained

Peter Parker, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, gets a scary new look thanks to a strange graphic glitch in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

The “new” Spider-Man 2 suit has received positive reviews from game players, and some have asked for an official version to be created for the game’s costume gallery.

Any game that’s big or complicated enough comes out with bugs and glitches, and Spider-Man 2’s New York City, which is a huge open world, is no different.

But not all bugs and glitches are bad. Some, especially ones that reveal something new or funny without ruining the game for the player, are even seen by fans as lucky events or fun problems that make them love the game even more.

The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Skeleton Suit Glitch Explained

This appears to be the case with a bug that Spider-Man 2 subreddit user LazyLink2099 mentioned.

A visual glitch that caused one of Spider-Man 2’s many wearable suits to play in an odd way was demonstrated in a screen shot and a video by LazyLink2099.

When the glitch happened, it changed Peter Parker’s black suit’s mostly black color scheme. The new look gives Peter the appearance of a Spider-Man who has taken up skeleton play.

Parts of the suit that were supposed to stay jet-black were instead painted in almost glowing white.

The community quickly voiced their approval of Peter’s new suit, praising the pattern and the white accents on his muscles.

Some called it an early Halloween costume, while others said it looked a lot like the Anti-Venom Suit that already exists.

Like the glitched suit, the Anti-Venom Suit features a white base with black accents and can be obtained through story progression in Spider-Man 2.

LazyLink2099 suggested that the glitch might be connected to a different glitch they used to change the time of day to night when asked how they caused the graphical glitch.

A closer look at the video reveals that the glitch also affects nearby surfaces, showing up as ghostly white.

As a result, the bug might have something to do with how certain lighting conditions affect how the game shows textures during game play.
