Kaiju No. 8 Anime Gets Hindi and Tamil Simuldubs

Crunchyroll shared the exciting news that they will be streaming simuldubs of the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of Naoya Matsumoto’s Kaiju No. 8 manga anime starting April 13.

Kaiju No. 8 is set to make its debut on TV Tokyo on April 13.

Kaiju No. 8 will also be available for streaming on X/Twitter worldwide in real-time, synchronized with its TV broadcast in Japan.

Crunchyroll is excited to announce that they will be streaming the anime in India as it airs in Japan!

In a world filled with menacing Kaiju creatures, Kafka Hibino had a strong desire to join The Defense Force.

He agrees to join the military alongside his childhood companion, Mina Ashiro. Eventually, life leads them on different paths.

During his time working to clean up after Kaiju battles, Kafka has the pleasure of meeting Reno Ichikawa.

Reno’s strong desire to become a part of The Defense Force reignites Kafka’s commitment to stand alongside Mina and safeguard humanity.

The anime is being directed by Shigeyuki Miya (Onihei).

Ichiro Okouchi, known for his work on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, is in charge of the series composition and screenplay.

Tetsuya Nishio, known for his work on Naruto, is the talented individual responsible for character design and serving as the chief animation director.

Mahiro Maeda, the talented artist behind the monstrous creations in Shin Godzilla, is lending his artistic prowess to design the creatures. Shinji Kimura, known for his work on Tekkonkinkreet, serves as the art director.

Yuta Bando (BELLE) is in charge of composing the music.

Manufacturing I.G (Ghost in the Shell) is taking care of animation production, while Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion) is responsible for kaiju designs and artworks.

Matsumoto released the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website in July 2020.

The initial print volume was shipped in December 2020, and there have been subsequent printings to meet the high demand.

The manga has been licensed by Viz Media.

The company offers both digital and physical releases of their chapters. The manga titled Monster #8 is published by Shueisha on its MANGA Plus service.

In September 2021, the manga achieved a remarkable feat by surpassing 4 million copies in circulation.

This accomplishment solidifies its position as the fastest Shonen Jump+ manga to reach such a significant milestone, distinguishing it from manga running in Shueisha’s print magazines.
