Final Fantasy 14 Reveals Combined Holiday Event

As a special, combined event for players to take part in, Final Fantasy 14 will host the annual Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-Tide holidays in the coming days.

Final Fantasy 14 players will have a busy time in March, but those who finish a special quest during these holidays will get a new mount as a reward.

Combining Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-Tide into one-holiday event is not a new idea in Final Fantasy 14.

In early 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its worst, Final Fantasy 14 combined Little Ladies’ Day with February’s Valentione’s Day event. This meant that players could celebrate both holidays at the same time.

This year’s Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-Tide event will last until early April. After that, the long-awaited Final Fantasy 16 crossover event will happen.

Before the Dawntrail expansion opens this summer, all of these events are scheduled to take place.

In Final Fantasy 14, March will be even busier than usual until then. Final Fantasy 14 will host the Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-Tide holiday events beginning on March 14 and continuing through April 1.

The Fan Dance emote was given to players who took part in the Little Ladies’ Day event last year across the city of Ul’dah.

The holidays this year will have decorations for Little Ladies’ Day in Ul’dah, and there will be Hatching-Tide eggs all over the city of Gridania in the forests.

For the event, players can do the one-time quest “The Princesses and the Eggs.” To start it, they must talk to a miqo’te named Jihli Aliapoh at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheater in Gridania.

Final Fantasy 14 Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-Tide Event

  • Starts Thursday, March 14, at 4:00 AM Eastern
  • Ends Monday, April 1, at 10:59 AM Eastern
  • New reward: Peatie mount (earned after completing “The Princesses and the Eggs” quest)

After finishing the game, Final Fantasy 14 players will get a new mount called Peatie, a pink Goobbue. In addition, during the event, the Final Fantasy 14 Online Store will sell rewards from the 2023 versions of Little Ladies’ Day and Hatching-Tide.

The duration of these combined holidays will run through a busy schedule of events in Final Fantasy 14. On March 19, patch 6.58 will be released, which will fix some known problems and make some PVP Job ability changes.

Naoki Yoshida, producer and director of Final Fantasy 14, will take the stage at PAX East later that week for a panel discussion about Dawntrail.

The upcoming holiday event will also run through the March 21 release of Final Fantasy 14 on Xbox, giving new players something to do starting at level 15. Final Fantasy 14’s road to Dawntrail looks to be a fun time for the game with all these events happening throughout March.
