The manga unveiled the teaser visual, staff, and 2024 television premiere on Friday.
Noriyuki Abe, known for directing popular anime such as Yū Yū Hakusho, Bleach, and Flame of Recca, is at the helm of the anime at St.Signpost.
Sawako Hirabayashi, known for her work on Wolf Girl & Black Prince and Delicious Party♡Precure, is overseeing and writing the series scripts.
Narihito Sekikawa is in charge of designing the characters.
Tsuma Shōgakusei ni Naru: Plot
The story revolves around Keisuke Niijima, a man who is still heartbroken a decade after his wife Takae’s passing. One day, a young girl from elementary school arrives at his house claiming to be Takae reincarnated as a different girl. Currently, Keisuke is attempting to compensate for lost time, while Takae is facing challenges as a grade schooler with the mind of a woman in her 40s, striving to create opportunities to encounter Keisuke.
Murata released a one-shot of the manga in Weekly Manga Times in April 2018, then started serializing it in July of the same year.
Tsuma Shōgakusei ni Naru concluded in December 2022, with Hobunsha releasing the 14th and last compiled book volume in March 2023.
A live-action series based on the manga aired from January to March 2022.
