The Tower of God anime’s official website released additional cast members and a fresh visual for the show’s second season on Friday.

  • Yūma Uchida portrays the character Ja Wangnan
  • Sayumi Watabe brings to life the character Yeon Yihwa
  • Furthermore, Saori Hayami reprises her role as Rachel


The highly anticipated second season of Tower of God is set to premiere in July. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime in various regions across the globe.

The first season premiered on Crunchyroll in April 2020 and also aired in Japan on the same day. The season consisted of 13 episodes. The Crunchyroll and Webtoon productions are included in the Crunchyroll Originals slate.

Takashi Sano directed the first season at Telecom Animation Film. Hirokazu Hanai served as the assistant director for the project. Erika Yoshida was responsible for the series composition.

Masashi Kudo (Bleach, Hayate the Combat Butler) and Miho Tanino were responsible for creating the characters. The music was composed by Kevin Penkin, known for his work on Made in Abyss and The Rising of The Shield Hero.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

Climb to the summit, and the world will be at your feet. From the top of the tower, you’ll find a world of possibilities waiting for you to explore and claim as your own. You have the potential to achieve greatness beyond your imagination.

This is the tale of Rachel, a girl who embarked on a journey to reach the stars, and Bam, a boy who found solace in her presence.

In July 2014, SIU launched the digital comic on WEBTOON in English after releasing the manga on NAVER WEBTOON in 2010.
