I tried to watch the dubbed anime version of One Piece, but the first 10 or so shows were terrible. A friend of mine recently told me that I should read the manga because the anime doesn’t do it credit. He also says that the story has to reach a certain point before it gets really good.
I’ve heard that the writing is better than any other comic by a long shot.
So, this brings me to my question: How far into the book do I have to go before it starts getting really good?
You can’t judge a 1000-part story by the first 10 episodes.
I think it’s great from the first chapter on. But you have to remember that every story starts with an opening and read about the story ahead of time so that you know what it’s about. By “introduction,” I mean learning about the people and how the OP world works. Once everything is clear, you can move on to the story, which is very rich and makes sense.
You can’t just skip to the good parts of the story by skipping chapters in the book. So be patient with the anime and manga, though I don’t know what’s wrong with the beginning of the series.
And if you look at the work of the seyus, you can see that anime does manga credit.
P.S. There are probably about 100 parts.
