Can You Watch The Persona Series Without Playing The Games?

persona games The Persona Series Watch Order Guide

The adaptation to anime of Persona isn’t as great as the games, but it is nevertheless very enjoyable. It is possible to watch the series before playing games and still be entertained by the games if you decide to try the games later.

The only thing that isn’t quite as impressive about this Persona series is the principal character. The anime is an adaptation of an online game, the primary protagonist was the player.

The player could alter the main character but if they would like to, they had no particular flaw within the gameplay.

In the first games, the mc was the silent character and was a cool and silent appearance.

There was no dialogue for the MCs in games. This affected the MC of anime and, consequently, he had a less-than-interesting character.

Are the Persona Series is a JoJo Reference?

persona jojo The Persona Series Watch Order Guide

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is an anime that has been in existence for a long time, but it only was popularized in the last decade.

This popularity resulted in JoJo being referenced on numerous occasions in the media, where “everything’s the result of a JoJo allusion.’

While the subject matter that is the focus of The Persona series is distinct from the themes of JoJo, one aspect, that is the physical manifestation of the psyche, also known as “personas,” was influenced by the stands from JoJo.

Therefore, although Persona contains elements influenced by JoJo it’s not an actual JoJo inspiration!

Conclusion

The most recommended sequence to watch Persona is the chronological order in which it plays.

But, it’s interesting to observe that the narratives of Persona 3, 4, and 5 are pretty independent and stand-alone

The stories in them are totally distinct and not connected and, therefore, even if you do not follow the stories chronologically, they will be just fine.

This order has been highly recommended to allow you to follow the show as you watch it.

Persona 3: Trinity Soul is an offshoot of Persona 3, so watch it after you’ve finished the previous series.
