In The Sims 4, if you want your character to have a life that’s a little bit more chaotic, you should probably select the serial romantic aspiration for them.
You can have a lot of fun with this one if you want your Sim to have multiple lovers at the same time and juggle a large number of different Sims at the same time.
This hilarious aspiration was included in the base game, and it will motivate your sim to make every effort to conceal the fact that they have more than one romantic interest and to keep those lovers apart from one another.
Characteristics That Can Assist One in Achieving This Objective
Romantic
Someone who aspires to be a serial romantic should, without a doubt, select the romantic trait as their primary character flaw.
This trait will make your sims feel flirty more often, which is helpful for romantic interactions.
Additionally, your sims with this trait will enjoy being romantic more than sims with the default personality.
Outgoing
If you want this to be successful, then you will need to engage in some form of outgoing activity.
Your Sim will have to kiss 10 different Sims, which means they are going to need to make friends with all of these people, and they are going to need to constantly be talking to other Sims in order to fulfill this requirement.
It is essential for a Sim to have a social life because they will enjoy themselves more when they are interacting with other Sims.
Alluring
Your Sim will acquire the alluring personality trait if they choose a romance aspiration when they reach the teen years or if they are created with the CAS feature.
This is a great trait that can be of great assistance to your Sim throughout all of this because it will increase the likelihood of romantic success for your Sim’s interactions with other people.
This can be of great assistance because many romantic encounters are doomed to fail (especially when the parties involved are married).
Reward Trait for the Serial Romantic Aspiration
A player trait will be awarded to a Sim who is successful in completing the “Serial Romantic” aspiration in the game.
When a Sim possesses this trait, it will cause other Sims to stop feeling envious of them when they are participating in romantic interactions.
It is wonderful to know that from now on, nobody will care if you walk around town kissing random sims or trying to hook up with anyone and everyone.
Excellent material for telling tales.
The Different Phases of the Aspiration
Level 1: Amore Amateur
- Have a boyfriend or girlfriend, whichever you prefer.
- Have two different first dates.
You should be able to complete the first part of this objective rather quickly.
During the first few days of adulthood for your sims, you should focus on developing a romantic connection with a single sim by going on two dates with them.
I have found that it is most convenient for me to go on dates before beginning a second relationship because it is no fun to feel jealous if the other sim is present during the date.
You should be able to complete these ones by the end of the first or second day at the very latest.
Level 2: Staying Up to Date
- Achieving Charisma Level 4
- Have Had 3 First Kisses
Your charisma skill is going to improve rather quickly at first on its own due to the fact that you’ll be devoting a significant amount of your time to cultivating relationships with various other sims.
Nevertheless, throughout the second and third parts of this objective, you are going to have to put forth a concerted effort in order to achieve the desired increase.
You can improve this skill by talking to other Sims or practicing your speech in front of a mirror. Practice makes perfect!
Your Sim must have had 3 first kisses, which means they must have kissed 3 different Sims in order to fulfill this requirement.
This is the second part of this requirement. When the romance between your sims reaches a certain level, they will have the option for their first kiss, which will fulfill this requirement if you choose to take advantage of it.
Level 3: Romance Juggler
- Reaching Charisma level 6
- Have a strong romantic relationship with three Sims at the same time
- Kiss ten Sims.
Since you’re working on spending a lot of time with a variety of sims, reaching charisma level 6 shouldn’t be too difficult for you.
However, if it does turn out to be the final milestone in this section, all you need to do is practice your speech in front of a mirror.
This will get the job done quickly.
Your Sim will need to be in a committed romantic relationship with three different Sims at the same time, and they will have to engage in a great deal of romantic activity with each of these Sims in order to complete the task.
This could take a few days, or you could get lucky and your sim could be extremely romantic, in which case it could happen in a matter of hours; the time it takes also depends on the other sim.
In addition to that, you’ll need to kiss ten different sims, so get those kissing lips ready and get to work!
Level 4: Serial Romantic
- Acquire Gold on Three Dates
- Have Experienced a Total of Eight Relationships with Boyfriends or Girlfriends
This means that your Sim will need to have had a total of eight partners, whether they be boyfriends or girlfriends.
They are not required to have all of them at the same time, but they have the option to do so.
You are permitted to begin a relationship with a sim, and you are also permitted to end a relationship with a sim; however, either choice should still count toward your sim’s count.
Getting this many other sims to agree to be in a relationship with your sim will most likely take a little bit of time, but you are more than capable of accomplishing this goal!
You also need to have at least three dates in which you earn gold, which means that you are going to have to go out into the world with sims who you are romantically involved with.
When you go on these dates, you should exercise extreme caution to avoid engaging in romantic activities with other sims who are already in a relationship with one of your boyfriends or girlfriends.
When your sim is out on a date, different objectives will appear in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
You must make sure to complete all of these objectives in order to earn the gold medal for that date. It will be easy things to do; all you have to do is follow the instructions, and getting a gold date won’t be too difficult.
If you want things to go smoothly on the date, all you have to do is ensure that your character has a strong romantic connection with the other person.
Final Thoughts
When I want to have a really dramatic gameplay and really mess up my sims’ lives a bit, this aspiration is one of my favorites because it allows me to do just that.
For someone who enjoys a good challenge, I can’t think of a better thing to do.
You could even combine this objective with someone who is attempting the 100-baby challenge for an increased level of difficulty.
