I’m a Behemoth Gets TV Anime

Hakusensha has recently announced that the light novel series, I’m a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet, will be adapted into a television anime.

The anime features Tasuku Hatanaka as Tama, Riho Sugiyama as Tama in cat form, and Hinaki Yano as Aria.

Yen Press is bringing both the light novel series and the manga adaptation to English readers.

Upon perishing in a battle against the malevolent forces, a valiant knight discovered his rebirth as one of the mightiest creatures in existence: a behemoth! However, he needs to mature before he can truly showcase his abilities, and surprisingly, a baby behemoth bears a striking resemblance to… a housecat?! And when an elf adventurer decides to take him in, she may require his assistance just as much as he requires hers!

Ginyoku began publishing the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) website in August 2017, with the fifth part concluding in August 2021.

Micro Magazine released two compiled volumes in print in 2018.

The two volumes were published in English by Yen Press.

Tarō Shinonome debuted the manga in March 2018, with Yanomitsuki also recognized as the original character designer.

The I’m a Behemoth manga transitioned to Young Animal after Young Animal Arashi ceased publication in 2018.

The 10th volume of the manga was published by Hakusensha on October 27, with the 11th volume set to be released on March 29. The eighth volume in English was published by Yen Press on January 23.
