In the upcoming May issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine, readers can look forward to the return of Anashin’s captivating manga, How I Met My Soulmate.
The serialization will resume on April 12, bringing more excitement and intrigue to fans.
“How I Met My Soulmate” went on a 3-month hiatus in July 2021 due to the author’s maternity leave.
Anashin made their manga debut in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine on April 24.
The fifth volume of the manga was published by Kodansha on February 13.
The series has been licensed by Kodansha USA.
How I Met My Soulmate: Plot
The love story revolves around Yūki Honda, a female college student who has recently relocated from the countryside to Tokyo and is now living on her own.
With her friend Sanae, she visits the club and encounters a guy who leaves a rather unfavorable first impression.
Anashin debuted Waiting for Spring in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine in 2014.
The 13th and final compiled book volume of the manga was published by Kodansha in December 2019.
Kodansha USA published the series in English.
Anashin released a side-story manga in November 2019, which piqued the curiosity of many.
Kodansha later published a compiled volume for the side story in May 2020, labeled as the series’ 14th volume.
The manga inspired a live-action film that premiered in Japan in December 2018 and achieved a respectable #7 ranking at the Japanese box office.
