They will be streaming Sword Art Online the Movie: Progressive: Scherzo of Deep Night (Sword Art Online the Movie: Progressive- Kuraki Yūyami no Scherzo), the second film in the Sword Art Online the Movie: Progressive- anime film series.

The movie will be available for streaming in Japanese with English subtitles and the English dub in various countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the Nordics, Latin America, and Europe (excluding Italian-speaking, Spanish-speaking, and Portuguese-speaking European countries).
The second film debuted in Japan in October 2022, following a slight delay, and quickly claimed the top spot at the box office during its opening weekend.
The film was released in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand in February 2023.
The film showcases a familiar ensemble. Furthermore, Kaede Hondo takes on the role of Liten, while Yūsuke Kobayashi portrays Morte.
Ayako Kohno, the unit director for Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic, High School Fleet, and The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky, has once again taken the helm to direct the film at A-1 Pictures.
Kento Toya, known for his character designs in Sword Art Online: Alicization: War of the Underworld and The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments, has also returned to lend his artistic talents.
Once again, Yasuyuki Kai took on the role of action director, while Yuki Kajiura returned to work her magic on the music. Eir Aoi delivered a captivating performance of the theme song “Shinzō” (Heart).
The first anime film in the project, Sword Art Online the: Progressive—Aria of a Starless Night, opened in Japan in October 2021 and had an impressive debut at the top of the box office.
The film was released in more than 40 countries and territories worldwide. The film was screened in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand in December 2021.
The movie is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The film was released on Blu-ray disc in January 2023.
The anime adapts Reki Kawahara’s Sword Art Online: Progressive Light novel series.
The novel series was launched in 2012 as a fresh retelling of Kawahara’s original Sword Art Online novels.
Kirito’s journey through the floating Aincrad castle is beautifully portrayed in the story, taking readers on a captivating adventure as they explore each floor.
Yen Press has taken up the task of publishing the Sword Art Online: Progressive novel series in English, along with two manga adaptations.
