Crunchyroll Adds Eng Dub for Mashle’s Season 2 

On Friday, Crunchyroll announced the English dub for Mashle: Magic and Muscles.

The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc is the second season of the television anime adaptation of Hajime Kōmoto’s Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga.

The dub was released on a Saturday for Mashle.

  • The second season debuted on January 6th.


Creepy Nuts provides the opening theme song “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born,” while Shiritsu Ebisu Chūgaku delivers the ending theme song “Tokyo’s Way.”

Mashle’s initial season debuted in Japan in April 2023.

Crunchyroll provided streaming services for the anime as it aired, including an English dub.

Tomonari Tanaka is helming the anime at A-1 Pictures.

Yousuke Kuroda, known for his work on My Hero Academia and Mobile Suit Gundam 00, is responsible for the series scripts.

Hisashi Higashijima, who has previously worked on Tada Never Falls in Love, has taken on the role of character designer.

Masaru Yokoyama, who is well-known for his work on Fruits Basket (2019) and Astra Lost in Space, is composing the music for the project.

The anime is described as a “complete” anime adaptation.

Viz Media’s Shonen Jump service and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service both offer digital publications of the manga in English.

Viz Media is also making the manga available in print format.

Shueisha provides a description of the manga:

Welcome to a magical world where the power of magic is woven into every aspect of life. However, nestled within the forest resides a young individual who dedicates their days to honing their skills and building their strength.

He doesn’t possess any magical abilities, but he finds joy in living a tranquil life alongside his father.

However, his life is suddenly threatened!

Can his strong physique shield him from the sorcerers who are after him? This extraordinary magical fantasy begins as powerfully trained muscles overpower the forces of magic!

The series debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan in January 2020 and concluded in July of the following year.

On October 4, Shueisha released the 18th and final compiled book volume of the manga, along with a fanbook.

In addition to the novels, there is also a stage play adaptation included in the franchise.
