In The War Within, World of Warcraft will bring back the cute Dog from Mists of Pandaria as a companion pet.
World of Warcraft players can finally bring Dog with them on all of their adventures, eight years after they first met him and almost 12 years after his last appearance.
Fans of World of Warcraft could purchase a dog for their Tillers Farm in Mists of Pandaria. The creature, which was appropriately named Dog, won over players’ hearts with the unique ways he interacted with certain emotes.
He led World of Warcraft fans to their Garrisons in Warlords of Draenor, and Legion let them relocate their devoted pet to the new Dalaran, where he has stayed ever since.
But when Dalaran was in danger in World of Warcraft: The War Within, many fans were worried about their faithful canine companion.
Dog, fortunately, avoids a bad ending in the expansion and instead becomes a companion pet that players can take with them on their journeys as the Faithful Dog thanks to his appearance in the Collections tab in The War Within alpha.
Although it is not yet known how to unlock this pet, it is likely that players will need to unlock it on their farms, bring it to the Garrison, and then relocate it to Legion Dalaran.
The History of Dog in World of Warcraft
