Beyond Good and Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition Release Date and New Features Revealed

The official release date for Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is June 25, 2024.

More information regarding this new remaster was recently revealed during the Limited Run Games Showcase, which was attended by fans of Beyond Good and Evil who were eagerly anticipating its release.

One of the games that received the most praise from critics was Beyond Good and Evil, which was developed by Ubisoft.

Jade, an investigative reporter who was working to uncover an alien conspiracy, was the protagonist of the game, which was initially released in 3.

The film received an HD remaster in 2011, despite the fact that it did not perform particularly well on the box office.

It has been confirmed by Ubisoft and Limited Run Games that the new edition of Beyond Good and Evil will be released on June 25. This new edition will feature a number of improvements in comparison to the previous HD edition.

Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition will be available for gamers to play in resolutions as high as 4K at 60 frames per second, and the game has also received a number of graphical enhancements.

There are also some quality-of-life features that have been added to this improved remaster. These include the ability to skip cutscenes, auto-save, and improved controls of the game.

There will also be new content included in this edition, such as a Speedrun Mode, a special anniversary gallery, and a new treasure hunt that will allow the player to discover the history of the protagonist and unlock cosmetic advantages.

Limited Run Games is selling a physical Collector’s Edition of the game in addition to the digital version, and pre-orders for it will start on July 12th.

When Will Beyond Good and Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition Be Released?

In spite of the fact that the official announcement was made at the Limited Run Games Showcase, it was already obvious that the Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition would be announced pretty soon.

Earlier this week, the video game Beyond Good and Evil HD was removed from the Steam platform.

Additionally, hours before the official announcement, Ubisoft leaked information about the game in a tweet that has since been deleted.

The Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition, which will be released soon, is fantastic news for fans of the franchise; however, many of these fans are still dissatisfied with the lack of an update regarding Beyond Good and Evil 2.

When it was first shown off, the Beyond Good and Evil prequel was presented at the now-defunct Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2017.

Over the past few years, fans have not received any news regarding Beyond Good and Evil 2, despite the fact that an insider recently gave them the assurance that the game is still in the process of being developed.

However, it is highly probable that the game is currently experiencing some kind of severe development hell.

The prequel does not yet have a release date at this time; however, fans will soon be able to play the new 20th Anniversary Edition at the very least.
