Warzone player shadowbanned after game gave him wallhacks

Warzone has had bugs and glitches that make players scratch their heads for almost four years now. These include the gas mask glitch and the demon gun glitch, which thankfully hasn’t found its way back into the game in a while.

However, most of these bugs and glitches are annoying, but not to the point where a player can be banned. However, this isn’t always the case, as one player found out the hard way.

When Warzone player AmarOriginal posted his video on social media, he couldn’t believe his bad luck. The game didn’t render some walls or textures on the rocks he was walking on, so he could see other players through them.

In a way, this did give him an advantage in the game, but it wasn’t long before the game noticed something was wrong and punished Amar for it.

With 19 kills and only three players left, Amar’s running floor began to disappear, letting him see right through it. At one point, this let him see an enemy player he was trying to find and he quickly tried to shoot through the rocks, but it didn’t work.

Amar found himself staring at a blank screen after turning the corner and killing his opponent, followed by a message that said “Player Kicked.”

He went online and sure enough, his matchmaking had been limited. This meant that he had been “shadowbanned,” even though the problem was with the game itself.

Amar will undoubtedly feel incredibly hard done by after this, but it’s unlikely Activision or Warzone developers Raven Software will be able to undo these bans.
